The RNC and GOP are fully owned subsidiaries of Trump Inc. The corrupt narcissist Trump will not give up the money and control that comes from that easily. He wants to remain the central figure for the GOP for 2028 and beyond. There is a huge fight ahead to wrestle control away. The civil war has just started. Regular listeners to the Diner with @CookedGooseinFL and @dreabearextra have heard this discussion for years.

Hey Jacksonville!! Hope our Jags win today. Serious matter first! Ballard Partners, Susie Wiles, plan to install Wyman Duggan as your next mayor. In case you haven’t noticed, Ballard influence in White House via Susie Wiles gave the country to democrats Tuesday. Never forget Lenny was chairman of @FloridaGOP and lost the state to Obama. Funny how they left that out of the bio. The party always thinks they know better than you. FIRE EVAN POWER FIRE JOE GRUTERS

I find Trump’s claim that @RonDeSantis lacks personality utterly unconvincing. DeSantis is a man of exceptional intellect, substance, and accomplishment. A degree in history from Yale, home to one of the world’s premier history departments. A Harvard Law degree. Distinguished military service. A Bronze Star. His credentials are precisely what one should expect of a serious presidential contender: intellectual rigor, discipline, public service, and a command of substantive policy. His criticism of conservative media also raises legitimate questions that deserve serious consideration. Personality is no substitute for substance. DeSantis exemplifies excellence at every level.

Trumps Solution: MORE JOE GRUTERS!
NYT: Fed Up with Politics and Struggle, Young Voters Rose Up Alienated by an older generation of politicians who felt out of touch and irrelevant to their lives, young voters revolted on Tuesday, powering the rout of President Trump’s Republican Party In swings of monumental proportion, young men aged 18 to 29 veered toward Democratic candidates by nearly 40 percentage points since 2024, according to preliminary results from Times Voter Trends. Young women, who were already inclined to support Democrats, swung by 27 points. nytimes.com/2026/11/06/us/po…

Foreign-born employment surges by 809,000 in October, while native-born employment declines by 64,000. Foreign-born workers now account for 19.5% of US employment, up from 19.1% in September. Follow: @AFpost

This is beyond retardation. After Tuesday night all the top brass at the RNC need to see the door
🚨 JUST IN: President Trump ENDORSES RNC Chair Joe Gruters post-2026 midterms “As Chairman, Joe turned the RNC into an efficient, focused, and powerful machine that will continue to empower the America First Agenda for many years to come.” “Joe Gruters should return as Chairman of the RNC to continue to build our Party, and be a trusted partner as we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and ensure Free and Fair Elections. Republicans everywhere should support him as he continues his mission at the RNC. Joe is 100% America First, the Grassroots LOVES him, and I know he will do an incredible job in 2028, and secure Great Success for Republicans all across our Country. Joe has my Complete and Total Endorsement — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! President DONALD J. TRUMP” This would set up Gruters to oversee the RNC for the 2028 election It appears to be Trump’s FIRST endorsement of the next cycle.

Excellent #SusieWiles #CesspoolSusie recap. Gosh, if only we’d warned everyone about having a lobbyist as Chief of Staff. She brought #CORRUPTION to the White House, and via #ByronDonalds we’ll get it in Florida too.
Joe Rogan just hosted his most important episode ever after Republicans lost the midterms as White House insider Calley Means just exposed the real people who are running Trump’s presidency and lists key inner circle names like Susie Wiles, Jame Blair, Richard Walters, and the most powerful lobbying firm known as Ballard Partners: MEANS: “Susie Wiles is the most powerful chief of staff in modern American history. She has taken a stranglehold on any policy decision. No policy decision gets done without her office giving it the okay. She was one of the top lobbyists in the country. It is impossible to describe to you how demonic this culture is.” CONTEXT: Means, who resigned from the administration in OCTOBER, says he witnessed an extraordinary concentration of power inside the White House. He alleges that cabinet secretaries and senior officials spent enormous amounts of time attempting to win favor with Wiles' office because of its influence over which policies could advance. He then identifies several people he believes were central to that power structure: SUSIE WILES: White House chief of staff. JAMES BLAIR: A longtime Trump political strategist and former deputy White House chief of staff. RICHARD WALTERS: Deputy White House chief of staff and longtime Republican political operative. WALKER BARRETT: Senior White House adviser with extensive congressional experience. But the most consequential part of his accusation concerns the CORPORATE LOBBYING INDUSTRY. Before entering Trump's White House, Wiles had a career representing corporate clients, including working at the influential Washington lobbying firm BALLARD PARTNERS. And the money involved in that industry is staggering. According to federal lobbying disclosures, Ballard Partners collected approximately $88 MILLION in lobbying revenue during 2025, more than QUADRUPLING its reported revenue from 2024. That made Ballard one of the highest-earning lobbying operations in Washington. And in MAY 2025, the watchdog organization Public Citizen identified SIX FORMER WILES CLIENTS that had reported lobbying White House offices during the administration's first three months. Those clients included companies involved in tobacco, automobiles, fertilizer, and other major industries. The White House disputed suggestions of improper influence and said Wiles generally did not participate in meetings or decisions involving former clients. Those disclosures establish real corporate lobbying relationships. They do NOT, by themselves, prove that Wiles improperly favored those companies or directed policies for their benefit. But Means argues that the broader culture of Washington is precisely what Trump promised to confront. Now consider the extraordinary political timing. IMPORTANT NOTES: On NOVEMBER 3, Democrats won control of BOTH CHAMBERS OF CONGRESS in a sweeping midterm defeat for Republicans. And TODAY, NOVEMBER 6, Trump announced that Susie Wiles will leave the chief-of-staff position, with Stephen Miller taking over on November 9. Trump PRAISED Wiles for her service and said she would continue working for his political operation.

RNC Chair Joe Gruters is the same guy who spent the past few months gaslighting the public, telling people prices aren’t actually as bad as they think and insisting Republicans would defy history and keep control of the House and Senate. Then the Republicans were utterly obliterated. We need a change of leadership everywhere because we can never allow what happened on Tuesday to happen again.

If we don’t want to see a coronation by Trump, Wiles, and Gruters, we have to make our voices heard to the RNC. As GOP voters, we have to let them know we want real primaries not a Trump-endorsed coronation. They have ruined the Republican Party, and we have to fight to get it back from them. Let them know what you think!

Especially when since then we’ve taken on entrenched interests to deliver big wins on immigration, education, gender ideology, crime, and Covid. Basic IQ test.
The effort to paint Ron DeSantis, who founded the freedom caucus and was the biggest pain in the ass for leadership in Congress, into some “establishment” guy is so lazy and dumb.

Let’s be clear: Trump’s decision to elevate Stephen Miller to Chief of Staff is a deliberate doubling down on the very agenda that just cost Republicans their biggest electoral defeat in 50 years.

Ron DeSantis explains why the GOP "screaming socialism" doesn't work anymore: "Young people have a very positive view of socialism compared to capitalism. The question is, why is that? Some of it is the education in our universities. But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Young people really aren't seeing that. They're seeing just a handful of companies that have an outsized influence on our economy and on our society"

Susie Wiles leaving as Trump’s Chief of Staff is good, but she is joining Trump’s political campaign organization. That probably means they are going to try and squash DeSantis’s hopes for ‘28. They want to push their choice for ‘28. This will likely shut out any conservatives or any non-MAGA candidate. Trump wants to dictate who his successor will be. That likely ensures no Republican will win in ‘28.

Every single federal judicial vacancy needs to be filled in the lame duck session. The Senate should pull all-nighters for as long as it takes. Democrats wont confirm a single Trump judge once they take over.

With all due respect, the number of times I spoke with Paul Ryan from my election as governor through the 2024 campaign: zero. And Mitt Romney was attacking me back then because we beat Disney on gender ideology and he is a corporatist. Try demonstrating a little more discernment next time someone is peddling bullsh— to you.
Now THIS is the Ron DeSantis that I wanted to see on the National Stage the last time he ran for President, but didn’t deliver on! Unfortunately, he allowed Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan advise him back then, when Americans knew how RINO’ish those two were back then. So there advise made him look like a fool. But now, his confidence is back … “I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE." "THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT." "They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it." "This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate." We definitely deserved better from our Senate, something John Thune did not want to deliver. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

NAILED IT: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis acknowledges that President Trump captured people with his unique brand and persona that no other Republican possesses. The 2028 Republican presidential nominee is going to have to offer ideas and plans that can actually be accomplished — and that the American people can get behind — the way he has in Florida: AGGRESSIVELY instituting the most CONSERVATIVE agenda in America and turning a purple state into THE STRONGEST Republican states in the country. CNN’s Jake Tapper: “Do you think that the Republican Party needs to move away from Trumpism, the MAGA movement, into a new era for the GOP?” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis: “I think President Trump is a unique figure in American political history because he had a unique brand. He has a persona that has attracted a lot of support across really the political spectrum. I mean, there are people who consider themselves Trump Republicans who aren't on the same page as other Trump Republicans. They see in him different things. I think the reality is—is there's nobody in our party, that has that outsize persona and brand.” “How do you then go going forward? I think it's got to be ideas-based. I think it's got to be, you know, based on what are we trying to accomplish? What do we stand for? That's what we've done in Florida. We set out a bunch of things to do. We were very aggressive at accomplishing them. We delivered results for people. So I think we're going to move into an ideas-based future, because I don't think there's anybody that would be able to take up all the oxygen in the room the way the president can.”
