Vite+ is a unified CLI for JS for workflows like build, test, lint, format, deploy, etc.
The news today is that (unlike previous plans) it's MIT and free 🎉
So how can it be sustainable?
void.cloud will be a revenue-generating hosting service built on Cloudflare.
We are happy to announce that Vite+ is now fully open source under MIT license.
Free for everyone! Go check it out today:

Congrats to @guybedford on advancing Import Sync to Stage 2 at @TC39 today 🎉
const mod = import.sync(<specifier>);
Like Node's require(<specifier>), it synchronously loads a module. It throws if sync loading is not possible.

I love that Google is helping save Tailwind.
LLMs are trained on open-source projects. OSS gave the world so much.
Hope more big tech companies do this.

I'm extremely excited to announce @openjsf's Bundler Collaboration space, which aims tom work on real problems JavaScriptm bundlers are trying to solve. From interoperability between bundlers, specified APIs to having a space where we all can collaborate publicly together. It's so amazing to see these moments where the ecosystem comes together to work together.

Period reminder that "wrapping the <label> around the <input> is fine, and is sufficient for conformance on its own, however adding explicit association with` for` and `id` is still necessary in practice."
Details: tpgi.com/should-form-labels-…
#a11y #HTML

ALT Three code snippets: the first one showing an implicit association between an <input> and a <label> with the input nested inside the label. The second one showing an explicit association with the <label> and <input> separated but associated with the for and id attributes. The third snippet shows an <input> nested inside a <label> and associated with it using for and id attributes.

But to go one step further, @ljharb has done more to move the js ecosystem forward than the vast majority of folks complaining today.
I’m not gonna start supporting node 0.4! But sheesh, everyone needs better threat models.
