Between 2013 and 2026, Maldivian taxpayers have paid former President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan 24,622,500 in former presidential allowances.
That is approximately 4,815 every single day for 14 years straight.
As a country, we need to start a serious debate about this.
It is not that we believe former presidents should receive no allowances. Rather, how much we pay, how we determine those amounts, and how long we continue paying them must reflect the economic realities of the Maldives.
After MPs’ salaries, the next petition should address former presidents’ allowances and benefits. It’s time to start this debate.
Taxpayers have paid so far
Maumoon: 72 million
Nasheed: 43 million
Waheed: 25 million
Yameen: 9 million
Solih: 10 million
Total: 159 million.
These payments will continue, and future former presidents will become eligible too.
As a nation, we must ask, can we afford this? Are these allowances proportionate to our economic reality, national income and the living standards of ordinary Maldivians?
Public money should reflect public priorities.

It never writes to disk, never connects to the internet, or ask for admin perms. It takes around 10-15 minutes to run depending on the device.

Many Maldivians don’t seem to understand what a RESIDENCY PROGRAM is.
Some compare it to iPhones, others to cities, and the slightly smarter ones to tourist resorts.
A residency program encourages foreigners to move here with their families, settle down, and make Maldives their home.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 An Israeli reservist has given German news magazine Der Spiegel a DEEPLY DISTURBING account of what his unit allegedly did in GAZA
Soldiers would hide in areas where civilians hadn't been evacuated, then shoot Palestinians who unknowingly approached. When others came to help the wounded, they were shot too.
Five, six, seven people dead.
The military report? "Seven terrorists eliminated."
He says his brigade killed around 160 to 170 people in the Netzarim corridor, despite encountering no Hamas attacks during that period.
And according to him, virtually all were recorded as terrorists without evidence that they were armed.
He's one of ten soldiers who spoke to Der Spiegel.
These allegations demand a serious, independent investigation!

Did you know the biggest project announced by Eagle Hills so far is the 20 billion Rasmale project.
Before Rasmale, its biggest announced project was a 6.5 billion development covering 600 hectares in Georgia.
Although Eagle Hills has several international projects under their portfolio, they have never invested more than 50 million of their own money in any project 🤭🤭🤭

Okay so Indian pilot is stabbed and the Omani co-pilot has placed the plane in a nose dive and a passenger gets up from his seat walks to the cockpit while the plane is in a nose dive defying the laws of physics and ignoring centripetal forces, subdued the co-pilot and stabilise the plane that has no rudder over Jordanian airspace near Israeli border and takes it back to Saudia and lands there instead of Israel.

How did we lose the rudder case everything happened in the cockpit?
Yep fatigue from the dive, the same dive in which a passenger manages to reach cockpit and subdue the co-pilot.
I want pro Israeli intellectual to answer this.
And the passenger who managed to reach the cockpit learned how to stabilise a rudderless plane from Television.
