Surveillance footage from the Kupyansk axis shows Russian soldiers trying to cut their way into a water pipe already used by Ukrainian troops. A Ukrainian soldier inside the pipe noticed them and opened fire with an automatic weapon before they could enter. #Ukraine

Solutions from the US company Lockheed Martin, one of the largest manufacturers of defence technology, are already working to defend Ukraine. These include HIMARS, F-16s and PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems. Minister of Defence of Ukraine Evgeniy Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi met with a Lockheed Martin delegation led by Orlando Sanchez Jr., President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The meeting focused on the importance of stable weapons deliveries and further cooperation. The parties also discussed the value of the F-16 for the Air Force. These aircraft are currently one of the key means of countering Russian jet-powered drones. It is also important for Ukraine to expand aircraft maintenance to more locations, including through localisation. These issues were raised during the talks. “The F-16 is part of Ukrainian aviation. Ukraine is committed to a long-term partnership with Lockheed Martin. It is important to increase weapons deliveries and do everything we can to ensure that as many F-16s as possible remain in service and operate in Ukrainian skies,” Evgeniy Khmara stressed. The talks also focused on scaling up supplies of PAC-3 interceptors to counter ballistic missiles. We look forward to mutually beneficial cooperation with Lockheed Martin for years to come. Ukraine is ready to share its unique combat experience so that, together, we can make defence solutions more effective in modern warfare.

“I saw hacksaws, chainsaws, axes, and machetes there. Everything was covered in blood.” Ukrainian military medic Yuriy Armash describes the terror inside Russian torture chambers. Ukrainian military medic Yuriy Armash spent more than a year in Russian captivity. Among other places, he was held in one of the most notorious torture facilities in the Kherson region, established by Russian occupiers inside a seized police station in Nova Kakhovka. There, he learned the stories of many people and witnessed how the Russians’ system of terror against local civilians operated. How Russians torture prisoners “The interrogations began on the very first day. They were conducted by the same FSB officers. During interrogations, they covered my face and handcuffed my hands behind my back. They asked where the weapons were, how many people were in our reconnaissance group, where our positions were, where we had come from, and what our mission was. They used an awl. They would pull the skin on my neck, pierce it, and leave the awl hanging there so I could feel it. Because I wasn’t telling them what they wanted to hear, since I couldn’t tell them something that didn’t exist, they started using a knife. They stabbed me in the leg. They would take a knife and press it into my upper leg until they felt the blade reach the bone. When the Russians realized they weren’t going to get an answer, they used a ‘Tapik,’ a military field telephone. They attached its wires to my ears and kept turning the crank, sending electric shocks through my body until I started screaming.” How Russian occupiers abused civilians “Starting April 20, they began taking me out to provide medical assistance to civilians who had been severely beaten by the Russians. I remember treating a woman who was about 40 years old in one of the two punishment cells in the basement. I bandaged her head because she had been beaten with a rubber baton. There were all kinds of injuries. They broke people’s legs. Men under the age of 35–40 were treated particularly brutally.” A room filled with blood-covered torture instruments “I never expected the level of brutality I witnessed after February 24. Although I had seen many things before that, I was honestly shocked. At the Nova Kakhovka police station, I entered rooms where I saw things that absolutely terrified me. I saw hacksaws, chainsaws, axes, and machetes. Everything was covered in blood. The room with the blood-covered torture instruments was on the second floor of the police station, in the left wing. It was just an ordinary office. But there were also more secret rooms in the building where they never even took me. At the police station, the occupiers also forcibly removed tattoos they didn’t like from the bodies of detained civilians. Some had their tattoos cut out with knives. Others had them burned off with potassium permanganate. Russian occupiers raped even children “When Buryats and Kalmyks were stationed at the police department, they frequently entered the cells of young women under the age of 25–30. They even sorted the women by age and placed them in separate cells. From time to time, women were taken out of their cells and brought to another wing. The young women were taken there at night and raped. When the Russians’ rotation was coming to an end, they sometimes entered the cells and raped the women right there. My cell was nearby. I could hear everything clearly… The worst case involved a 14-year-old girl whom the Russians were holding captive. She tried very hard to hide the fact that she had been raped. One day, when we were taken outside for a walk, I noticed that she was bleeding. I asked her what had happened. She didn’t want to answer. I asked, ‘Did Russian soldiers do this to you?’ She silently lowered her head. I assured her that no one except me would ever know about it. After that, she answered: ‘Yes.’”

Today, we had important talks with our American partners and with our other partners from Europe. Steve Witkoff was also here with us in Oslo, and Jared Kushner joined us online. Ukraine immediately supported American proposal for an energy ceasefire. But Russia responded by continuing its attacks. We offered different options. We are ready not to hit sensitive parts of Russia’s energy sector if Russia stops hitting ours. Putin said no. But we’re working to find a solution. We have some clear ideas on how to get to peace. And we are united with our European partners in this effort, and we want the Americans to take these ideas to the Russians. One of the important ideas is to move to a potential trilateral meeting of the leaders to address the issues that only the leaders can do. Steve is going to Russia tomorrow. Let’s see what Putin has to say. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine and stands for peace. From a joint press conference with Jonas Gahr Støre and Alex Stubb.

President Zelenskyy could have left Ukraine when the full-scale invasion began. He could have chosen safety for himself, but instead, he chose to STAY. He stood with his people, shared their suffering, faced the danger and continued fighting for his country's futurE #zelenskyfan

Lately, the President of the United States has been repeating a claim almost every day, which he believes is the main reason why the Russians failed to capture Kyiv in three days: “The Russians had a thousand tanks moving along a concrete highway. They would have been in Ukraine in four hours if they had been traveling at a tank’s maximum speed — exactly 48 miles per hour. Nothing could have stopped them. The war would have been over in one day. And this very stupid general — I have no idea who he is. He decided to turn right into farmland and then left toward Kyiv, instead of staying on the highway. On the concrete highway, a perfectly good road, where everything was going very well for them. Another three and a half to four hours, and the whole war would have been over. But eventually, they got stuck in the mud.” They say Donald Trump is given news and briefings on sheets of paper with pictures on them so that the president of the world’s most powerful country can get up to speed more quickly. We hope this post reaches at least one US government official who can print out and show him photographs of Russian columns destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. This was made possible, in part, by Javelins supplied to Ukraine by the American people — for which we are sincerely grateful — not Trump, shortly before Russia’s full-scale invasion. One of the world’s “most powerful” armies, backed by a nuclear power, was stopped by Ukrainian defenders armed with old Soviet-era equipment, a handful of Javelins, and a few Bayraktar drones. While almost all of our Western “partners” were betting on Kyiv falling within mere dozens of hours, Ukrainian defenders did the impossible, burning Russian columns and killing the invaders. Ukraine stood firm. And it still stands today. And no Putin sympathizer who is merely passing through — whether the US president or anyone else — will ever be able to rewrite history in Russia’s favor. The truth is on our side. Thank you for sharing our material. It matters.

BUDANOV WARNS PUTIN THAT UKRAINE WILL STRIKE THE FOUNDATIONS OF RUSSIA’S POWER 🇺🇦🇷🇺 Kyrylo Budanov has delivered a stark warning to Moscow: Russia’s military-industrial infrastructure and strategic facilities deep behind the front lines are legitimate targets for Ukrainian strikes. “Oil depots, factories, weapons production cycles, and the destruction of strategic facilities in russia’s rear are our legitimate targets. And we are already successfully fulfilling it.” Budanov’s argument is that Ukraine must do more than stop Russian troops on the battlefield. It must also undermine the industrial and economic capacity that allows Moscow to sustain its invasion, from fuel supplies to weapons manufacturing. His prediction for Russia’s future was even more sweeping: “..They will lose the opportunity to be a superpower.” For Budanov, Ukraine’s campaign against Russia’s rear-area infrastructure is part of a wider effort to erode Moscow’s ability to wage war and project military power.

Just imagine death raining down on people from the sky while they're simply driving to take care of everyday business. Ukrainians don't need to imagine. This is Kyiv–Odesa highway. 2 cars caught fire here after a Russian attack. 3 people were killed, and 4 more injured‼️
