the secret to life is to deliberately expose urself to higher levels of suffering until lower level suffering becomes irrelevant. Otherwise, u'll spend ur entire life crying over trivial pain, achieving nothing worthy of it. Increase ur threshold.

Haynes is critical of Arab owned businesses in Detroit: “I know some good Arabs, my issue is with (El-Sayed). He knows what his community has done. They own all the gas stations, now they’re buying soul food restaurants. Everything is in a Black, urban community.”

If Sherrone Moore had Jay Hill and an endless supply of mid blondes he’d have Michigan undefeated right now.

TMZ obtained a text chain between Jonathan Newell and Jane Doe. On the evening of October 21, 2024, Jonathan apologizes to Jane and says, "You're an amazing person and I genuinely hope ur not catching as much heat from this as we r. We've been shutting down any stories we've heard but again I'm so so sorry."

Cornell’s Jane Doe told investigators she tried to take more ketamine to pass out so she could accuse the fraternity brothers of rape. In other texts, she lamented her declining reputation and, once she was disinvited from a Halloween party, became disgruntled and accused the men of “lying”, saying that women always got the “short end of the stick.” It seems that Doe’s consent was predicated on nobody finding out and attacking her reputation. Incredible reporting from the NYT. The woman at Cornell did not consider herself a rape victim until she saw people making fun of her for being a slut. She went to her "big sister" in her sorority and confessed that she had been a slut. Then while texting one of the men she reassured him that she enjoyed the first part of it and nothing illegal had happened. Later, she texted him that she was traumatized. Not by the sex, but because everyone was laughing at her. One week after her "rape," she was mad that she got disinvited from a party at the frathouse of her "rapists"!!!!!!! Only a few days later, she decided that she was a "rape victim." Nobody would laugh at her anymore! She went from an object of ridicule and shame to a hero. Once again, we need to have a serious conversation about how women are being lied to. People do not respect sluts. Even at woke Ivy League universities. Human nature is what it is. The lesson is women should protect their reputations by not doing things like this.

It drives me insane that the Nakbah happened just 3 years after the last Holocaust camps were liberated, and Palestinians are somehow forced to feel guilty about a European atrocity that had nothing to do with them
Abdul El-Sayed on Israel-Palestine: I understand on both sides of this debate, we're also dealing with a lot of trauma. A lot of trauma. I understand that for a lot of Jewish Americans, there's the trauma of the Holocaust and the need to have a refuge. I understand that. And I also understand that for a lot of Palestinian Americans and Palestinians everywhere, there's the trauma of the Nakba. We've got to be able to create the circumstances within which both of these deeply traumatized people can have a conversation built on principle. But to me, the answer has to be principle. It has to be.

Now it is official. "In relation to Israels military operations in Gaza, we conclude that Israeli authorities are responsible for war crimes. Including extermination, murder, using starvation as a method of war, forcible transfer" (UN Human Rights Council)

NEW INVESTIGATION w/@earshot_ngo: In the early hours of 23 March 2025, in Tel al-Sultan, Gaza, two convoys of ambulances were ambushed by Israeli military personnel. Fifteen aid workers died in a hail of over 800 bullets; by the time dawn broke, Israeli bulldozers were burying the ambulances, seeking to conceal evidence of the attack. The Last Responders tells the story of this attack in painstaking detail, drawing on interviews with witnesses from @PalestineRCS, digital reconstruction, and audio analysis of phonecalls made by the victims as they came under attack. vimeo.com/1182944295
