@allmodelsRwrong i wrote up a temp check for a @gitcoin x @breadcoop collab: an artizen-inspired crowdfunding app people can actually trust. we'd keep the fun parts (up to 4x match, leaderboards, fiat ux) and rebuild what sits underneath: - match on-chain + visible before a round opens - match funded only from yield that already accrued - principal locked in a permanent fund - no single person can stop payouts - round rules in the contracts, changeable only for future rounds thousands of ppl just learned what matching feels like, then what losing it feels like. i'd love to catch them while they're still energized. you've lived this harder than i have (bread got caught in it too). where's the design wrong, and what would the mvp need for you to trust it with your own community? gov.gitcoin.co/t/temp-check-…

In the @FT today, I argue that if AI is just another productivity tool, the productivity gains will be limited. For lasting economic expansion, AI must catalyze new industries and initiatives. "Had the 19th century focused solely on better looms and ploughs, we would enjoy cheap cloth and abundant grain — but there would be no antibiotics, jet engines or rockets. Economic miracles stem from discovery, not repeating tasks at greater speed."

We have always been bullish on London... The London @EFetheverywhere hub at Encode Hub 🫶
londonmaxxing isn't new for some. Ethereum's ecosystem has always bet on London. from Devcon 1 in 2015, to 2026 with our community hub opening. and that's what our @EFetheverywhere hub is all about. enabling the builder economy of London, for tech, creativity, and culture. if you want to swing by, drop me a DM.

Gitcoin 3.0 is mapping the Funding Infrastructure of the Next Internet The funding infrastructure of the next internet is being built right now. It is powered by AI, crowdfunding, stablecoins, and open source software. These forces are reshaping how people coordinate, build, and create value online. They are also breaking the legacy systems that fund innovation. Venture capital optimizes for upside, not public goods. Grants are slow, brittle, and local. Governments cannot keep up with global, permissionless networks or open innovation. At the same time, AI is exploding the supply of builders and ideas. The result is a growing gap between what can be built and what will be funded. A new funding stack is emerging. Capital allocation is becoming programmable. Funding decisions are moving on-chain. Evaluation is continuous rather than episodic. AI assists with discovery, review, and signal extraction. Stablecoins enable instant, global payouts. Open source makes outputs composable by default. This is not theoretical. Quadratic funding, retroactive funding, bounties, streaming grants, dependancy funding, and coalition-based funding are already live. But the terrain is fragmented. Builders don’t know where to go. Funders don’t know what works. Signals are noisy, incentives are misaligned, and experiments are isolated. What’s missing is a map. Gitcoin 3.0 is positioning itself as a cartographer of this new funding landscape, and a basecamp for its builders. By embracing the pluralism of onchain crowdfunding providers, Gitcoin 3.0 catalogues real-world funding experiments and turns hard-earned lessons into shared knowledge. It builds a schelling point for builders and funders, where they can discover and evolve open, composable allocation primitives together. And it creates a common social space and mental model so builders, funders, organizations, protocols, and AI agents can coordinate more effectively. The next internet will not be limited by a lack of ideas. It will be limited by how well we fund them. The opportunity is to crowdfund the next internet, together.
🔥 New Gitcoin site just dropped Why? The funding landscape is fragmented. Lessons aren't being shared. Experiments are happening in isolation. So we built a living reference: the tools, the teams, the research, the results. All in one place. Turning hard-won experience into something everyone can use → gitcoin.co Here's what's on it 👇🧵

BRO SUPPLY LEADERBOARD NOW AVAILABLE 🟠👑 Our @CharmsDev explorer is now ready to share. 🔗explorer.charms.dev/ You can see every Charms protocol transaction, all circulating charms on Bitcoin, and the supply distribution for each charm. Right now, this primarily includes the BRO supply distribution. You can easily see every address holding BRO (over 3200!) and the share of the BRO supply held by each. Keep in mind that our indexer is still a work in progress. Some data may not reflect accurately (yet). I'm currently ranked around #686, though it's overestimating my holdings a bit. Still, it's come a long way, and it is key infrastructure that will be used once Cast launches with BRO trading. Use CTRL + F to search for your address under the holders tab. Give it a try!

So while @CharmsDev been building Cast + the Cardano integration... ...there were THIRTY other teams building dapps on Bitcoin using Charms, during the BOS hackathon! 🟠💎 The 3 winners were my favorites. 1. Echo Markets - Bitcoin Prediction Market 2. zkUSD - BTC Backed Stablecoin 3. EternalKey - Bitcoin Inheritance Vault Every project submitted GitHub documentation and demo UIs to boot. So much to explore already. Which should I cover first? 👀
