To make a character like Jack would mean that you'd have to allow a woman to not only admit shes not as strong as she thinks, but also have the strength to rely on others Jack's romance is completely wholesome in the fact that you help her overcome her trauma and help her learn that theres good people willing to help if she let's them in.
