Hyperliquid community generously helped raise 30,000 PURR 3 months ago. That translated to €7,380.16 in funds donated to cat shelter Zilinske labky.
The funds were life-saving. As thanks, they asked me to share this video and named 4 adorable kitties after HL team members 😻
In portfolio margin, the protocol retains 10% of borrowed interest as a buffer for future liquidations.
The docs don't say more, so I dug into the node state to see how it works 🔍
Takeaways:
🏦 It isn't sent to any address. It stays in the lending pool, but users can't withdraw it.
💰 $406,570 has accumulated so far across USDC, USDT0 and USDH.
📈 That's ~$2.1M a year at today's rate. That figure assumes zero growth, so the real number will be much higher

Spent a week in Europe and my virtual card details leaked. My best guess is the parking system payment gate I used wasn’t secure, but I guess we’ll never know.
In any case, got an email that my card got frozen. Thought it was an error but upon checking recent activity I learned they actually blocked ~20 fraudulent transactions. Not a single one went through. Not getting paid to promote but 10/10 would recommend:

Lesson in this: never depend on one card, create a bunch of them. When one of them gets stolen, you won’t have to spend ages updating every one of your subscriptions 🤦♂️

one thing to monitor closely is the decreasing trend across revenue, volume, and wallets.
