From Michael Clay Lovejoy On FB: As I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind! • If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him. • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America. • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good. • It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it. • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves. • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees. • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated. • Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome. • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not. • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free. • People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President. • We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us. • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now. • Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights. • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?! Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right. Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely!

.@POTUS: Mercedes-Benz is investing $4B to expand its plant in Tuscaloosa. U.S. Steel is investing $475M at its plant near Birmingham. Eli Lilly is investing $6B to create a new factory in Huntsville. ArcelorMittal is investing $1.2B for an advanced steel manufacturing facility in Mobile. We just opened a brand new facility to build Navy submarines in Cherokee — and we're building new Coast Guard Cutters right here in Mobile. MANUFACTURING IS BACK!

It was hard to believe then, watching it in person in the Swamp. Still hard to believe now. Time has obscured just how special Shaun Alexander was.
Few college football games have provided as many heroic moments, pivotal turn of events and sheer drama as what happened 27 years ago today when @AlabamaFTBL went into Gainesville and shocked the No. 3-ranked Florida Gators, 40-39, in overtime on Oct. 2, 1999. For the heroic performances look no further than Alabama’s Shaun Alexander who led the Crimson Tide with four touchdowns, three rushing and one receiving, and Florida’s Darrell Jackson who caught three touchdowns. For the pivotal turn of events a fumble on a punt return late in the game by Jackson allowed Alabama to tie the game and force overtime. For the sheer drama Florida place-kicker Jeff Chandler missed an extra-point attempt in overtime opening the door for the Crimson Tide. After Alabama scored a touchdown on a run by Alexander, Chris Kemp also missed his extra-point attempt. But then the penalty flag dropped. Florida’s Bennie Alexander had jumped offsides and allowed Kemp a second chance to amend for his errant kick. This time Kemp delivered as Alabama snapped Florida’s 30-game home winning streak in The Swamp. Alexander rushed for 106 yards and scored on runs of 1, 13 and 25 yards. He also caught four passes for 94 yards which included a 47-yard touchdown reception from Andrew Zow in the third quarter.

Elon Musk just proved that ownership in America is a legal fiction. Musk: “You get taxed on what you earn, you get taxed on what you buy, and you get taxed on what you own.” Think about what property tax actually means. You worked for decades. Paid it off in full. The deed is in your name. Stop paying the government its annual fee. Watch them take it and sell it to someone who will. You never owned that house. You were leasing it from an entity you never signed a contract with. Income tax tells the same truth in softer packaging. The government does not take a portion of your earnings. They decide how much of your own labor you are permitted to keep. That is not semantics. It is a confession of who the system believes your time belongs to first. Sales tax buries itself in the receipt. Two people exchange value voluntarily. A third party who contributed nothing takes a cut simply for allowing it to happen. Now stack all three. Taxed when you create. Taxed when you spend. Taxed when you hold. Taxed again when you die and try to pass it to your children. At no point in that cycle does the system recognize your output as yours. Because money is not an abstraction. It is crystallized human lifespan. Every dollar taxed is an hour you already lived, already bled for, already gone. The state is not managing an economy. It is claiming dominion over time you will never get back. And spending it on systems you never asked for and actively oppose. The institution extracting all of it faces zero obligation to perform. A contractor who delivers nothing gets fired. A bureaucracy that burns through trillions gets a budget increase the next fiscal year. SpaceX pays taxes to the agencies that obstruct its launches. Tesla funds the regulators drafting rules to shield its competitors. The builders are not subsidizing government. They are financing their own friction. The tax code is 74,000 pages long. Not because the economy demands it. Because the extraction had to be buried in enough complexity that you would stop asking who it was designed to protect. The past belonged to the people who taxed the world. The future belongs to the people who build it.

This article was written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve..👍🏽 My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

What you do t here from the left is what they would do to stop a country who was days away from nuclear enrichment, have ICBM’s that could reach the east coast of the U.S. and who have attacked us whenever possible for the last 47 years. Yup…as usual they offer no solutions.
