A rule that saves a lot of pain: When emotions are high, speed should be low. You don’t have to answer the email immediately. You don’t have to respond to that slight. You don’t have to make that decision. You don’t have to do anything. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.

Something I realized when I became a parent is there's a window of time when your parents are healthy, your kids are little, and everyone gets to experience multiple generations of family spending time together. Cherish this time and don’t take a single moment of it for granted.

Pretty cool note I got from a tech CEO/founder who watched NCAAs about hiring wrestlers: “I'll say this: without question my favorite hiring profile is a D3 All-American wrestler. You competed in the darkness. No lights, no crowd, sometimes literally no one watching. You showed up anyway and you figured it out. Give me 10 of those guys and they're worth 50 fancy Ivy League degrees. Every time. The mat doesn't lie.” Thoughts?

Remember when this guy won NCAAs with his singlet turned inside out and saved like 15 sports at Stanford
Shane Griffith Stanford story is legendary In 2020 Stanford announced it would cut wrestling following but Shane and the team refused to let it happen. Shane was seeded #8 in 2021 at 165 lbs and went on to win the title. Which ended up saving the program giving it more attention

Lord God, Please fill my heart with Your peace. Calm my thoughts, quiet my fears, and remove all restlessness within me. Let Your peace guard my mind and guide my actions. Help me release anger, worry, and pain from the past. Give me patience, understanding, and a gentle spirit. May peace flow into my home, my relationships, and my future. I place everything in Your hands and choose to trust You. Amen 🙏

I hope everyone realizes how amazing this is for the sport of wrestling. So proud of the platform that we have been able to build in such a short amount of time!!! Creating a professional sports league for wrestling was always a life dream of mine. I have so much gratitude @IzzyStyle @EBischoff and @ChadBronstein for making this come to life!!!
Five shows in, Real American Freestyle has become a top subscription driver for @foxnation, with RAF05 marking the platform’s biggest day of subscriber growth in more than a year. Partnerships don’t usually move this quickly. This one did. FOX Nation has expanded its commitment, securing a new long-term agreement to remain the exclusive home for RAF — streaming every upcoming event nationwide and continuing to build the definitive professional stage for elite freestyle wrestling. Grateful to FOX Nation for the belief and for helping give this sport the home it’s been missing.

Sean McVay shares a universal truth about adversity and resilience. "You're either in it, you're coming out of it, or you're gonna go back into it in a short period of time." That's the reality. Adversity isn't a one-time event - it's a cycle. "The separator is people's ability to handle that. How long can you stay in some of those uncomfortable spots and knowing that real growth is occurring?" The question isn't whether adversity will come. Because it will. The question is: can you stay in the discomfort long enough to grow from it? "Adversity's inevitable. That's what's so great about sports. We learn so many things that test you in ways that are reflective of what you go through in a bunch of different arenas." You don't grow despite adversity - you grow because of it. The best aren't fearless - they just keep showing up. (🎥@pureathleteinc )

This is in the early lead for my favorite clip of 2026. Always so fascinating to listen to the people who study the brain breakdown their belief in God. @hubermanlab is one of the best communicators of the complex I’ve ever listened to.

One of my favorite quotes is the one from Marcus Aurelius: ‘The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.’ I think it’s always good to remember it.

Morale needs good health, physical and mental. Unless the body is well and vigorous it is pretty hard to endure hardship and keep up enthusiasm. Fatigue and illness sap mental vigor and moral strength. — Psychology For The Fighting Man 165-0:24:08

All young athletes. Read this until you understand it, then read it some more.
“Surrender the outcome. Trust your training. Focus on the performance. Forget everything else.” This is what I have been telling myself before matches since the summer. My advice is to simplify the messages you tell yourself before matches. It’s okay if they don’t make sense to other people. Find words that resonate with you. When you simplify the messaging related to mindset, you can focus on technique. If your internal monologue is fear-driven you will compete scared. I’m happy that I won last week, but I’m most proud of the fact that at no point during the competition weekend did I ever want it to end.

We’re thrilled to announce that Wispr Flow raised another $25M round after 10x'ing our revenue in just 5 months. Our Series A2 was led by @hanstung at @notablecap (who was an early investor in five companies that made it to $100B valuation like Slack, Tiktok, and Airbnb). we also brought on @StevenBartlett as an investor and partner. But here's what matters more than the money: We cracked voice input. Not transcription - actual understanding. Our users hit "send" in under 0.5 seconds without checking. They trust it blindly. That's never existed before. In a recent benchmark, Wispr came out as 3-4x more accurate than OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Siri. Voice input was step one. Now, we’re building the assistant that actually gets things done. The keyboard had a good 150-year run. Time to build what comes next. PS: like, retweet, and bookmark to get wispr flow for free for 3 months ❤️ — Written with @WisprFlow
