#Jets should strongly consider in-season extensions for Geno Smith & Dane Benton & offseason extensions for AD Mitchell, Braelon Allen, & Dylan Parham.

Anybody who says AG is worse than Kotite is either looking for attention, pushing an agenda, a prisoner of the moment, or simply wasn’t around back then.
This is not a defense of AG - who also isn’t worse than Lou Holtz who had #Jets singing college style rally songs in the locker room & didn’t even last a full season - it’s a reminder of how truly awful Kotite was.
That 1996 #Jets team went on a spending spree on offense. They had a roster full of young, talented players in their prime on both sides of the ball.
They won one game. The defense was ranked near the bottom of the league. The next year with almost an identical core, they won 9 & the defense went from bottom 5 to #6 in -#NFL.
And the locker room. Lotta not only lost it, he never had it.
One constant through Kotite’s tenure was a complete lack of respect from the players. He had a QB openly telling the press he couldn’t wait for the season to be over so he could leave. A WR who was so badly mistreated he blames Kotite for straight up ruining his career out of pure spite.
We really don’t have to do this thing where we pretend the latest guy is always the worst guy ever. AG has done a poor job. He’s not Kotite. He’s not Holtz. You don’t have to let current emotions lead you to false conclusions.
Glenn is worse than Kotite.
Sure, he'll win a few more games. But in the mid 90's a HC's ability to effectively communicate what he was thinking was far less important than it is today. No social media. No constant dissection.
Not only is Glenn a horrendous coach on game day--he's one of the least effective communicators I've heard in quite some time.
Never makes sense. Never inspires. Embarrassing.

Jets Fans ignore this “take” from @FB_FilmAnalysis and here’s why:
Flamed!? “Game Script?!” What “Film Analysis” are you watching?!?
#Jets had 4 series in 2nd half plus the last 27 sec series
3rd Qtr
Series 1:
3 Play Drive - Touchdown
“Raiders loved that?!”
Series 2:
Play 1 - Jets 28yd completion but penalty (holding)
Now 1st and 20… you know damn well you’re passing 3 straight times. Raiders make stop
Punt
4th Qtr
Series 3:
1st Dwn - Run
2nd Dwn - Run
3rd Dwn - False start/Incomplete pass
Punt
“Game Script?!?”
Series 4:
9 play drive - FG
All passes till they got to redzone.. tried a run and got stuffed on 1st dwn.
The game script was true… Jets were gashing Raiders on early down passes… there just wasn’t enough plays to run the ball more in 2nd half.
So with all due respect let’s be sure when we use words like “Flamed” or “Game Script” it makes sense according to your “Film Analysis”

Trump and his enablers want to distract you. They don't want you to focus on their efforts to make it harder for you to vote and easier for them to cheat.

History maker: Connie Carberg became the NFL’s first female scout when she joined the New York Jets in the 1970s.

The @BuffaloBills have a bye this week, but I'll nonetheless share (again) that for each TD the Bills score at home*, @beane_mrs and Brandon pay the adoption fee for a pup, cat (or other species) - thank you Beanes.
* Imagine if they were there when the Bills beat us 51 to 3.

For me I think the frustration with the GW target convo is.. sure he should get more overall targets obviously he’s awesome but it’s more of the consistency with which he gets them. Can’t be multiple drives in a row where he’s not fed the rock at all. That’s the main issue is consistency, that falls on the OC and QB. Just consistency with getting your best player the football more than the overall volume of target share

Bears just called a screen pass on third and 17… and it went for a touchdown.
If the Jets called that play, they would’ve been killed for not being aggressive and also they wouldn’t have scored a touchdown.
Sometimes players have to play great.

It’s completely understandable why Dani Watt is questioning the NFL’s decision to move forward with the Paris game amid the ongoing protests. While the league says they have security on the ground, the safety of the players, their families, and especially the traveling fans has to come first. Fans won't have the same level of protection as the teams, and no game is worth putting people at risk.

The Jets have played six snaps this season with Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, Garrett Wilson, AD Mitchell, Omar Cooper, Kenyon Sadiq and Mason Taylor all available at the same time.
Omar Cooper looked really, really good. It opens some exciting possibilities for the offense when everyone returns.
Even better: the supporting cast the Jets have built for their future QB.

Have tried telling people for a year that Omar Cooper Jr is capable of being a downfield threat in addition to playing the slot.
An eventual passing game featuring Cooper, Garrett Wilson, AD Mitchell, & Kenyon Sadiq all healthy at the same time could be a lot of fun.

Aaron Glenn on the viral clip about him saying the Jets would be getting the ball back in the second half even though they weren't — Glenn said he was alluding to when the offense gets the ball back.

Feels like we do Garrett Wilson target discourse after every loss too.
Wilson entered today’s game top-10 in the NFL in targets and is now 11th after today’s games.
Players who have fewer targets than Wilson in 2026 include Drake London, Ja’Marr Chase, Mike Evans, Tetairoa McMillan, Zay Flowers, Tee Higgins, etc.
Think that discourse is overblown.

I know it’s easy to blame the coaching staff and they’re definitely culpable but when do the players stand up and say enough is enough. At the end of the day the players are the ones out there

Some will make you believe this is exclusively a Jets/Aaron Glenn problem. So many coaches are struggling with end of half/end of regulation management across the league, though.
"It's f---ing chaos."
Inside how NFL teams handle, and invest in, game management, what it actually looks in practice, and how (and why) it's come undone in so many key spots early in the 2026 season.
