Hackers have got into Russias statistic agency Rosstat and found classified data which stated 450,000 Russian soldiers had been killed in the war in Ukraine.

Christmas will just keep getting earlier and earlier because people need horizons and hope more than ever. But eventually we probably will have to ask some questions about whether its a sign of something deeper

Realising he was losing the war and the support of the people the, by now ailing, dictator doubled down and promoted a ruthless idealogue to run things.
It ended for them both, under siege, in a bunker, with their own weapons*
*In other news, Trump has promoted Stephen Miller

I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.
4.2 million kgs of potatoes burned in a fire at a storage facility in Tyrnävä overnight. Fifth of all of Finland's seed potatoes. Serious hit on food security.

Oh look labour were returning people who failed asylum proceedings in 2010 and it steadily dropped under the Tories for a decade.
Oh look Labour are returning failed asylum seekers again. Competence not propaganda from Labour.

We need to end this myth that the private sector runs things well, and the public sector runs things badly, before it is too late.
It is very easy to make the public sector look bad by starving it of money and resources over time. We must learn to see through this.

The Bank of England has raised interest rates to 4%, supposedly to tackle inflation.
There is just one problem with this decision. The Bank knows that much of the inflation we are suffering is being driven by rising oil and energy prices, largely resulting from conflict in the Middle East.
It also knows that raising interest rates cannot reduce those prices.
So why is it doing this?
The answer is that the Bank believes it must suppress demand elsewhere in the economy to compensate for rising energy costs.
In other words, it is deliberately making mortgages more expensive, increasing business borrowing costs, discouraging investment and reducing household spending power.
And all this when people are already struggling with higher energy bills. That is problem number one.
There is, however, another problem. Higher interest rates increase costs for businesses, which can then feed through into higher prices. They can, in that case, add to inflation rather than reduce it.
The Bank is imposing economic pain to address a problem its chosen policy cannot directly solve.
That is not sound economic management. It is the consequence of an economic dogma that refuses to recognise the difference between inflation caused by excessive demand and inflation caused by supply shocks.
When will we learn?

"Nobody wants to work anymore. Our turnover is at an all-time high."
Did you give raises above 7% inflation so your staff didn't take a pay cut? "No"
Did leadership still take home massive bonuses while freezing employee pay? "Well, yes, but..."
Did you dump double the workload on remaining staff when people quit? "We had to..."
Did you force mandatory return-to-office on people who were thriving at home? "I mean, we..."
Did you slash the training budget and tell everyone to "do more with less"? "Like every company..."
Did you install software to micromanage and spy on remote workers? "We needed to ensure..."
Did you threaten pay cuts for remote staff who moved to lower-cost areas? "We adjusted for cost of living..."
Sounds to me like people still want to work. You've just made it completely unbearable to work for you
If GB news doesn’t sack Bev Turner shame on them, shame on anyone who stays with the channel whilst this odious creature is still employed by them. @beverleyturner @GBNEWS

Another thought on this-
Imagine if the Rwanda scheme had got to the point where it was fully up and running, worked well, and the result was a 48% reduction.
People on the right would have been hailing this as a huge success and evidence the scheme was working.
Imagine if a Reform government got into power and achieved a 48% reduction. People would be shouting about it all the time, and calling for Farage to be knighted as sir Author of Gammonlot.
It happens under labour - crickets

Is the world healing?
MAHA-backed candidates suffer major defeats.
Doctors and scientists win a record number of seats.
People are finally getting tired of the outrage, the lies and the endless division.
What if the next global trend isn't outrage, but a return to reason?
