The bad EV data aside, there’s a concern polls overestimate gop. It’s hard not to think this will be a blue tsunami election. Trump has a 30% approval. Gas prices are up $1.5+ y2y. Prices are up overall. All things Trump didn’t have to do, all avoidable. Expecting a tsunami.

Just my gut take: I think Trump and MAGA are thinking/hoping that the polls will be wrong like they always have been since 2016. I’m just not sure this time. I’m pretty confident it’ll be closer than the polls suggest but, I think Trump took things just too far this time.
