These were so fun. I’ve got some stuff planned for Christmas too. Don’t you worry, but back to Mary Sue first. 😁
Happy Halloween 🎃 I've loved watching everyone's Halloween shorts this month. AI isn't outsourcing anyone's creativity. It's letting it out. Here's my final one: SMASHED, a Fun Size Halloween short. Made with @invideoOfficial.

This isn’t about us not having enough usage or picking the wrong plan. I’ve been buying the 12-inch pizza from your place forever, and you guys have always given me a normal 12-inch. Then one day I open the box and it’s a 6-inch. You tell me costs got too high, so from now on the “12-inch” is actually 6 inches, and if I’m still hungry it’s my fault for not choosing the right size. That’s insane. If you needed to cut costs, just tell us ahead of time. If your pizza is good and I still want it, I can just order two or three of these fake 12-inch ones. Or if I’m not full, I can go somewhere else. Either way that’s my call, not yours. But you don’t get to keep selling me a normal 12-inch and then suddenly shrink it to 6 inches with zero notice, not even a heads-up so I can adjust. Don’t turn around and say I picked the wrong subscription. The problem is you unilaterally changed what you were delivering without telling anyone. @elonmusk @mark_k @BenjaminDEKR @CWLemoine

It’s worth more than $30/mo, but this doesn’t inspire confidence that upgrading to a higher tier won’t be abruptly adjusted.

Sheep are sheep... what happened after The Fall? xitter.gq/JossMonzoni/status/208… you'll see, soon
“THE FALL” the complete film is out. It’s incredible to see that something that lived in your head for months now has to go live here on X for everyone to enjoy. “THE FALL” is a story about good and evil, and about courage, and about what it costs to be free. A year ago it would have stayed a story I told myself. AI is the only reason it’s a film instead. Streaming now. 🤩 Made with Seedance 2.0 @invideoOfficial, @suno, @ElevenLabs, @midjourney Written / directed / art / etc. by Joss Monzoni Thank you @jordandchesney @munoz_benj86450 @jdp2oo @rourke_heath @Framer_X @sabet for your support

Sure, there's a lot of AI slop out there, but @JoshDaws really uses it as a tool to create create animated art: youtu.be/TAaVg_slYwY

Thanksgiving and Christmas are allied powers against the forces of darkness. There is no conflict.
Thanksgiving is a sovereign holiday and has the right to defend itself from attempts by Christmas to violate its borders

"AI movies have no soul" is the laziest critique in film right now. The soul was never in the puppets or the camera. It's in the choices. Which take. Where to cut. What the kid does with his eyes when the candy starts to move. I made every one of those choices. The machine just rendered them. Take One: a Fun-Size Halloween short. Made with @invideoOfficial.

Feels like Halloween in the 80s/90s.
Tyler wouldn't take his little brother trick-or-treating. So 7-year-old Joey drew a face on a paper bag and went alone. "Be back by nine." What Are You Supposed To Be? A 104-second Halloween horror short, made entirely with AI. #HorrorShort

I used AI to 100x my productivity and I’m having more fun than ever. I don’t care what you call me.
"I used AI to-" Then you aren't an artist. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a writer. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a coder. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a game dev. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a poet. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a filmmaker. "I used AI to-" Then you aren't a teacher.

Hey everyone, we have heard your concerns about Proton’s AI strategy and culture and after internal discussions, we want to share a few things with you. First, Proton does not install tracking software on employees' laptops to measure how much AI-generated code they produce. This rumor stemmed from a misunderstanding about how MDM software works, and it's not true. Second, our use of AI will never be at the expense of security. In the past year, contrary to what has been alleged, additional layers of security review have been added to meet the threat posed by hostile AIs scanning Proton's open-source code for vulnerabilities. Our code is open source, and its security remains open for all to verify. We want to prove this to you, so in the interest of transparency, we will lift the hood on how we use AI internally at Proton. This includes publicly releasing and open sourcing several of the internal tools that we use, including more advanced versions of Lumo with greater capabilities, which have never been made available outside of the company. We will also publish how code reviews and security reviews at Proton are done, and detail our AI policies, including where AI is permitted, and where it is not, and our rationale. Instead of just being able to see the final open-source code that we produce to verify security, you will also be able to assess how that code was produced. Lastly, we are not re-interviewing our staff about AI usage, and there are no job losses due to AI re-interviews. You can hold us to these commitments. We're aware that we haven't lived up to the high standard you ought to hold us to, and for that we can only apologize, we are sorry.

All very reasonable except promising no job losses due to obstinance on AI. Of course you should get fired if you refuse to comply with company strategy. That's the job! That's what the money is for! Also, don't apologize, it's never enough for the mob.
