Threw together a map showing where Byron Donalds performed better or worse than his combined opposition. He performed well in SWFL (where his district is) and South FL, but abysmally in the rural Panhandle. He received under 20% of the vote in Lafayette and Liberty Counties.

JD Vance's in-laws' names are Radhakrishna Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri. I wonder if he tells them this stuff, too. To their faces. Or does he just save it for white MAGA rallies? Truly a racist pathetic embarrassment of a son-in-law to his brown Indian immigrant in-laws.
VANCE on 9/11: I remember driving to a local gas station to wait hours in line for gasoline that was now of course more expensive because of a region of the world made up of countries and names that I cannot even pronounce

SP (cidade): Lula 55,5% RJ (cidade): Lula 51,54% Belo Horizonte: Lula 49,2% Porto Alegre: Lula 55,84% Florianópolis: Lula 48,34% As capitais do centro-sul lularam.

Today, Brazil re-elected incumbent president Lula da Silva, who defeated Flávio Bolsonaro, the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro won a plurality of the vote but failed to secure a majority in the first round, which was held three weeks ago.

Notable that even the worst case scenario is that the extension *simply allowed more people to vote.* The right argues that shouldn't count. There's no scenario where these votes were stolen, just that counting them is bad. That's very anti-democratic.

THAT’S MY GOAT, LET’S GOOO
Lula has been reelected president, Brazilian media has now called. An extraordinary comeback for the longtime left-wing leader, who trailed by 2 points in round 1 but managed to hold off Flávio Bolsonaro, the former president's son.

Today was a very very good day for Democrats in Florida. IPEV was R+6 , nearly 7 points bluer than yesterday, and 16 points bluer than Day 6 of EV in 2024. The result: Democrats maintain a narrow early vote lead. We are nearly halfway through the early voting period.

Update: I was right! With most counties done for the day, Dems still lead by 0.08%, or ~2,000 votes. Still waiting on Lake County to do its evening vote drop, but it certainly won't be enough to erase this lead
Maybe I’m delusional but I think FL Dems have a chance to hold onto their current mail/EV advantage until tomorrow at this rate

Today, I’m honored to share that President Obama is supporting our campaign for the U.S. Senate. President @BarackObama & I both started as organizers in our communities, because we immediately understood that real changes come from regular folks joining the fight. #AngieForFlorida

Maybe because those fucking states voted TEN points to the left of Florida?! wtf is your deal, of course a bluer states voters are gonna be bluer
Despite huge raw shifts toward Democrats in early voting, Florida’s underlying numbers look much better for Republicans than GA/NC. Why? Low-propensity voters are heavily Democratic in GA/NC but more evenly split in FL, though I expect them continue shifting toward Democrats.

Mediaite: Amy Acton’s Mother Was Convicted of Killing Kittens New information about the criminal history of Donna Arthur, the estranged mother of Ohio Democratic nominee for governor, Amy Acton, is coming to light amid the backlash about her appearance in a Vivek Ramaswamy ad — including her conviction for animal neglect after several kittens in her care died in a hot car mediaite.com/crime/amy-acton…

Great visualization. Will be interesting to see if Republicans are able to drag that 2026 line down to 2024 levels before IPEV ends. They'll surely get close.
Day 4 ended up being better for Dems than I thought it would be. Maybe I was wrong, if the early vote has a similar trajectory to 2024 then it could get quite competitive.

I completely agree with Zachary here. Early vote in Florida is not actually that good for Dems, at most it'll be a few points bluer than 2022. The numbers right now for day 4 10 AM: IPEV: R+11 Mail: D+5 Combined early vote: R+3.6 This is significantly redder than yesterday

Louisiana for New Orleans, and it’s not close. Though Nashville and the WV panhandle are decent choices as well
Say you were forced to live in one of the ultra-red states (Trump >60% of the vote) Which one do you go for? Personally I think Tennessee or Idaho would be my choice.

We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse. Full story here: blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/fif…
