Today, Russia once again showed how it really feels about ending the war and seeking peace.
The deliberate mass killing of civilians right on the streets and in residential buildings in several Ukrainian cities in a single day – these are Russia’s “arguments” in negotiations.
Ukraine and the entire free world must respond to this with real strength. For every victim in Ukraine, Russian defense industry facilities must burn, and Moscow’s very ability to wage aggression must be destroyed. Only the military strength of Ukraine and its partners can stop the daily loss of life caused by bombs, drones, and missiles in the heart of Europe.
I call on Ukraine’s partners to give the aggressor a fitting response to its daily terror. Long-range weapons to suppress Russia’s ability to wage its genocidal war, effective air defense systems to save the lives of Ukrainian civilians – this is what will truly bring peace closer.
Only together can we stop Russian evil.

Russia sending condolences for the train catastrophe in Spain and at the same time creating a new train catastrophe in Ukraine.
❗️Today, Russian forces struck a railway station platform in Dnipro, where a train carrying civilians was present. According to preliminary reports, 13 people have been killed and many others injured. Emergency services are working at the scene, providing assistance to those affected. These attacks are yet another horrific example of ongoing crimes against Ukraine and its people. My condolences to the families of those killed. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Today’s edition of the New York Post, a newspaper read in Republican offices in Washington and New York.
As Americans watch the evacuation operation in Oleshky, they must remember who bears responsibility for the countless deaths in Ukraine. Their blood is on the hands of Putin and the russians. To end this war, the United States must pressure russia, not Ukraine.
Three organizations – Razom for Ukraine, American Coalition for Ukraine, and Nova Ukraine – placed the following advertisement in the New York Post.
Translation of the advertisement:
“You are a humanitarian, sir, and I pay tribute to you for that,” – Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to Putin.
Just days earlier, russia bombed a residential building in Zaporizhzhia, killing 17 people, including a mother and child who were holding hands.
Pressure russia, not Ukraine.

So basically what everyone feared would happen is happening.
Russian forces have begun taking civilians from occupied Oleshky to Russia, apparently disregarding previously announced agreements governing the operation.
The operations are being conducted by the Russian military, without American representatives or teams from either side’s ombudsman office present. Russia’s state news agency TASS is openly filming the operation.
There is no indication that civilians are being given a choice of where they wish to go. No buses or other vehicles designated to transport evacuees to Ukrainian-controlled territory are visible.
The operation raises serious concerns that Russia is once again exploiting a humanitarian evacuation to forcibly transfer Ukrainian civilians.
The parallels with the evacuation of Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant are disturbing. Once again, Moscow appears to be disregarding agreed procedures while controlling the fate of Ukrainian civilians.
Why are Americans not warning against taking blood money? Why does russia avoid mass boycotting and backlash?

Please read this article by @ZarinaZabrisky; a true hero whose quiet, tireless work helped bring Oleshky to the world’s attention. Now, she is sounding a warning we must hear‼️‼️‼️
Forcibly deporting civilians from occupied territory is a war crime. Moscow must not turn this ceasefire into another instrument of repression.
The people of Oleshky must be able to reach safety in Ukrainian-controlled territory, freely and without coercion. Their choices, rights and dignity must be respected.
Thank you, Zarina, for continuing to speak out and stand beside them.
Please read, share and, if you don’t already, follow her‼️

Wild (and disturbing) indeed!
Completely wild @FT story that, even as Congress was passing the Graham Russia Sanctions Act over the summer, Russian energy giant Novatek was secretly involved in one of the newly-developing Alaska LNG projects, and the Trump Admin was at least generally aware of it....
