Im everywhere extremism is. Be is Christian or muslim. I cant hate any religion but I hate extremists. If speaking up against extremists makes you mad Stay mad.
I called you an Islamophobe because you seem to be everywhere Islam is being dragged, whether justified or unjustified. You berated a man for saying Islam superceded all things to HIM and insinuated deportation on the basis of Islam to a woman for sharing her opinion on alcohol.

I am Yoruba. Halal is also unnecessary. I do not want Sharia law in Yoruba land. I eat pork. 🐷 I drink alcohol. 🍺 I protect Yoruba culture. I love my freedom . I will never trade it with. I don't want to share country with extremist and core Northern Nigeria.

No. We are not stupid. Islam has been in Yorùbáland for over 600 years. Extremism is anything that threatens the secular character of Yorùbá society. Simple. No religious law should be enshrined in government policy. No religion in Yorùbáland should target Yorùbá cultural practices such as ìdọ̀bálẹ̀ and ìkúnlẹ̀. People should be able to coexist peacefully with neighbours who practise other religions. Etc.
The problem be say extremism to you might mean praying five times a day. Because why would you be triggered by a person saying Islam is the most important thing in their life.

What does “One Nigeria” truly mean when the country is made up of diverse ethnic nations, civilizations, languages and traditions? Unity should not mean cultural erosion, unequal power or the denial of indigenous people’s rights to their land and resources. True federalism requires fairness, autonomy and a meaningful share in national prosperity. The lesson is clear: a lasting union cannot be built on slogans alone, but on justice, mutual respect and power-sharing.

My Own Take Is This I don't see any issue with this guy saying Islam comes first over anything including Nigeria Most Christians hold such belief too. Some people even place their tribe above Nigeria. Not a problem to me - The problem is, not keeping your ideology to yourself - The problem is, thinking someone else has to die for your ideology - The problem is, raising kids and teaching them to spill the blood of another human to please God - The problem is putting whatever you want to put above everything else and using it to worry others Keep your ideology to yourself. Nobody is asking you not to believe in your Faith Keep it to yourself Whether you are a Christian, Muslim, Juju Worshipper, etc. Keep your thing to yourself.
This is the person that you people are gaslighting us about

Someone is saying they should ban sale of alcohol in all shops to respect Muslims. You didnt see that one to tackle. Its almost like you people secretly have the same biases and hide behind extremists. Then when there is push back you call them Islamophobes

Notice how the moment Yoruba conservatives made it crystal clear that there would be no protests in the South-West under President Tinubu, all talks of national shutdowns immediately collapsed. The miscreants who were boasting about paralyzing the country suddenly went silent, and not a single soul dared to gather or block the Lekki Toll Gate. This silence proves what we have always known: nothing moves, succeeds, or happens in Nigeria unless the Yorubas participate. That era of using the South-West as a launchpad for destructive, opportunistic protests is permanently over. We will no longer allow our region's peace, infrastructure, and economy to be exploited to fire up agitations designed by others. If the South-West does not back a protest, it simply does not happen, period.

Understand that their call for Sharia is strictly about politics and power. It's political islam with no covering. Most of these people can't actually live in a real sharia state. They know their religion is backward, that's why when it's time to grow in their personal lives, they run to Christian/Western countries. You also see it with the Northern elites. They promote sharia at home (for political power) but send their children to Western/Christian countries not only for education, but to live! Anybody trying to promote sharia law in Yorubaland is an enemy of Yoruba people and is a legitimate target for elimination! Yorubaland is too valuable to us to watch some of you burnt it down. We will burn you first.

What is one Nigeria? A call for patriotism or a tool of genocide?

Radical Islamists o, Igbo expansionists o, pan Africanists o (their ideology requires the destruction of individual African identities first) The truth is if you don’t use your head, those that think they are wiser will use it. Weaker entities get trampled on. It is what it is!
