The "Everything is P5" take is the most surface level and silly take when you think about it All they're taking from P5 is how to control the menu, it's like saying everything before P5 was copying P1 because you had to scroll through a list of options rather than P5s buttons

Tbh it’s funny seeing people say persona remakes look like persona 5. And it’s just prettier ui’s and updated mechanics so there’s cohesion within each entry of the games. genuinely, people just sound like they’re pissy for a series having consistency.

well firstly the design of the ui elements isn’t the same across any of the games so xyz colour argument is completely false of rip. secondly the placement of the ui elements is also not the same, it just follows the same ideas but it’s completely different executions

It's not "cohesion" and "consistency" its just taking games that had a unique style and making them "Persona 5 but xyz colour". The appeal of the series *was* seeing them change and evolve whilst keeping the same core elements

I think people also forget part of what makes p5’s ui design good is more than just the visual appeal like its legible straightforward and not a command list. Its not “reheating p5’s nacho’s” to use genuinely good design principles

Yeah this is too good to fake. There’s elements from 1/2 era in the ui that’s adapted for a new street art style, Yuya “idgaf” Narumi, and all the UE debug code in the top left that pops in and out. The video is in the style of a Japanese internal presentation like the P3R leak
