- started because flight booking seemed automatable: repetitive work, clear objective
- browser control wasn't seamless (a lot of work must go into the harness for codex/claude)
- fell back to inventory; landed on duffel, but prices were region-locked and less flexible than I'd hoped
- was inconsistent with planning: often understood the request, but did the wrong thing
- was exciting to build with codex, but too much trial and error in the process
- repair loops helped, but created another system to watch
- still prefer to send the trip to a human
- it's just pilot now

Some months ago I posted about getting NEV from China.
Today I’m sharing the full experience of buying a car (an XPeng G6) directly from China to Nigeria - sight unseen, no middlemen.
