everyone asks if letting grok bot pay is safe. here's the part that actually matters
cards in the vault: the bot never sees the number or the security code. it just fills them in at checkout
but a saved card doesn't ask you before every charge. there's no setting for that
want an ok on every payment? leave "securely save to bot's vault" unchecked on the card form. the card stays in that one chat and expires on its own

This works well. If Grok @Bot makes a mistake with a purchase or leaks your card (never happened yet), SpaceX will make you whole.
I gave my grok @bot vacation plans. it researched, booked, and saved me about 10 hours of planning and $400 on hotels.
it also found local spots that made the trip feel unique instead of full of tourists.
here's how it works:
gmail → contacts the hotels for you
whatsapp → even better internationally
reddit + hotel reviews → finds local spots and red flags
negotiation bot→ gets discounts and room upgrades
card → pays once you approve
most people still pay a travel agent or lose a weekend to booking sites.
