i think what upsets me so much is that they’ve treated him like shit for 8 years and are getting away with it. he’ll be gone having been paid no respect to his position, zero dancing opportunities (not even dance breaks), basically no lines and screentime ever and horrible treatment over all. once he comes back he isn’t getting shit either. it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth thinking about it all. i thought that last year would at least be making up for it a bit but here they go sending him away so early. of course they did a lot more but basically his last year consisted of one comeback and pop up stores.

—Normally idols debut solo or get oportunities to show their talents before enlistment to make up for the time they won't get expossure. Sadly, Lee Know has been kept in the dark for 8 years without dancebreaks or a solo song on the last releases, and was not given any oportunity this past year either.

i am realizing what keeps me so conflicted and lost. we always knew this was gonna happen and i'll even be bold enough to say i was ready. but why now feels so awfully wrong is bc he'll be going in the middle of nowhere. after this year of money milking and poor promotion, him going doesn't land right bc he basically gets torn out halfway through every activity, there's no closure. he won't finish the tour, he hasn't gotten any release or schedule that would signify a sort of resolution of his career before the service. it feels sudden and poorly scheduled and that's why it hit worse. i only hope that he himself has no regret bc his wellbeing is the most important

this whole situation feels like a complete mockery. it genuinely feels like the company sees minhos absence as absolutely no problem, as if they can just take him out of the remaining tour dates, carry on with everything without him and expect nobody to even notice the difference. but minho is not some replaceable part of the group schedule. his contribution, his presence and his importance to the group cannot just be crossed off the schedule and brushed aside as if nothing happened.
what makes this even more infuriating is knowing how many opportunities he has been denied throughout all these years. he has his own ambitions, his own talent and every right to have an individual career. he deserves the chance to show the world what he is capable of, instead of constantly having to settle for whatever he is given within group activities
