Just look at what's happened since the war began:
• Natural gas prices: +206%
• Diesel prices: +39%
• Petrol prices: +27%
• Crude oil prices: +50%
• Eurozone inflation: 1.9% → 3.8%
• France's 10Y bond yield: 3.22% → 4.98%
• France's 30Y bond yield: 4.23% → 5.49%
• Germany's 10Y bond yield: 2.65% → 3.38%
Meanwhile, eurozone government debt has increased by nearly €492 BILLION in just six months.
France's debt has reached 119.1% of GDP, while Italy's is approaching 140%.
Economic growth is slowing, unemployment has edged higher, consumer confidence is falling, and the ECB has already started raising interest rates again.
The bigger concern is that Europe is heading into winter with energy prices already extremely high, government debt still rising and economic growth weakening.
If the war continues and energy prices rise further, Europe could face an even more serious inflation and debt crisis.

Russia has won the war. The Western gambit to use Ukraine as a battering ram to defeat Russia has failed. Trump’s belated shuttle diplomacy is just window dressing to distract from the growing realization that Russia has achieved a historic victory over NATO and its proxy army.
NATO’s threat to Russia will no longer be tolerated. Russia has successfully fought off sanctions and the combined forces of NATO, as the Europeans squandered billions supporting Zelensky’s military regime. And Russia has taken back Novorossiya, the four Eastern oblasts that Lenin extrajudicially incorporated into the Ukrainian Soviet Republic.
Sooner or later, for the sake of their economies, the Europeans will have to come to terms with Russia and resume normal, mutually beneficial relations. After many years of zero diplomacy, the Finnish and Norwegian leaders initiated a call to Putin - possibly heralding a new era of peace in Europe.

PLUS: 55 miljoen subsidie voor Nederlandse energiebedrijven die Oekraïne door de winter helpen.
PLUS: 136 miljoen in een pot om Nederlandse bedrijven op weg te helpen bij zakendoen in Oekraïne.
Ondertussen bij U: De gasprijs staat op het hoogste niveau sinds eind 2022. Een nieuw energiecontract is in korte tijd honderden euro's duurder geworden.

Een vlog kost niets, nada.
Ik heb er geen probleem mee dat een ambtenaar een vlog maakt, zelfs in functie. Of er nu een kat naar kijkt of niet is het punt niet.
Maar dat er weer een of ander P/R bureau 160.000 EUR voor factureert voor wat "editing" is gewoon crimineel. Zie ook #wassalon
Dit zijn geen "toevallige prijzen" waar een "naïeve politicus of ambtenaar" op ingaat. Vriendjesdiensten, percentjespolitiek en collusie zijn hier voor mij vermoed tot bewijs van het tegendeel.
