Elon Musk moving to Texas to get away from Dems, becoming the biggest partisan megadonor in history, then spending around a half-billion dollars to have his own state go blue immediately in the next election — with data centers the top gov issue — is pretty impressive

🧵Zelenskyy hit Putin’s oil five nights in a row, and Putin responded by slashing recruit signing bonuses from $39,000 to $8,000 overnight. As refineries burned 155 miles from the Kremlin, Kazakhstan cut oil transit, and Moscow froze troop pay until January. 1/🧵

We need to thank @ZelenskyyUa for bombing those Russian data centers. Seriously, doing that helped the US elections immensely. You'll all find out in the future why that is. Volodymyr Zelenskyy restored US election integrity and democracy. Thank you Mr. Zelenskyy #Anonymous

This is basically Musk admitting he was behind the Starlink restrictions in Ukraine, after denying it.
Elon Musk: “Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week” “Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately.”

That blurred map on Trump's desk appears to be East Potomac Park — the golf course where the trees are being cut. Katie Zacharia may have just handed the federal judge evidence of exactly where the order came from.
President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to. It was an honor to work for him.

Russian satellites may be attacking the Finnish mapping satellite that aids Ukraine and is trying to reduce Europe’s reliance on American gear.
In May, five Russian satellites surrounded a commercial imaging satellite. And this week, one of them — Cosmos 2612 — is maneuvering to get even closer. It will make its closest pass over the next 24 hours. (h/t @AdamCohen8 for the visualization)

This is quite promising. Although equally troubling as Russia is most likely also aiming to get this kind of a EW resistant drone strike capability.
German defense company Helsing’s HX-2 strike UAV is reportedly seeing growing demand among Ukrainian military units operating in areas where Starlink connectivity is unavailable or disrupted. A defense industry source told Janes that Ukrainian operators have praised the HX-2’s ability to engage targets near Donetsk, where Russian electronic warfare reportedly disrupts Starlink connectivity. The source described the system as independent of Starlink, giving operators greater control over its operation. According to the source, Ukrainian forces have flown thousands of missions with the HX-2 since October 2025. Helsing also reported that the HX-2 completed three weeks of testing during the European Defence Agency’s Sentinel Strike Challenge in Portugal, achieving what the company described as a “100% strike rate.” The trials included engagements against moving targets under conditions of complete GNSS denial, including during the final approach and at the target. The reported results and operational claims have not been independently verified. Source: Janes #Germany #Ukraine #Helsing #HX2 #UAV #DroneWars

Meanwhile, what Russia is doing with the money Trump is giving them:
"According to analysis conducted by the Financial Times, 24 ships were hit in the two weeks to 11 October, the most intense period of attacks in the entirety of the war. It is almost double the second worst period, when in the first two weeks of the war in March, 13 ships were hit. 'Iran may be developing its anti-ship missile capabilities to improve its ability to target vessels,' the Institute for the Study of War said." Bet you'll never guess who's helping Iran develop its anti-ship missile capabilities... The Strait remains perilous, oil hits $100 a barrel, and the country helping America's adversary in the Gulf gets sanctions lift, while the country helping to protect U.S. forces there from drone attacks gets its air defense system degraded. uk.news.yahoo.com/disturbing…

President Zelenskyy: "Starlink shuts down at speeds above 161 km/h in Ukraine, but works at speeds exceeding 180 km/h in the EU" President Zelenskyy said Ukraine had conducted tests to determine whether SpaceX was experiencing technical issues or whether this was a "deliberate operation." To verify this, several vehicles equipped with Starlink were sent to EU countries. In areas where driving at such speeds is permitted, the vehicles reached speeds exceeding 180 km/h - and the connection continued to work. "We have the relevant records and evidence. The conclusion is as follows: the restrictions are in effect on the territory of Ukraine, but they do not apply in EU countries," Zelenskyy said. ‼️ Starlink restrictions in Ukraine are costing lives. Earlier, President Zelenskyy agreed to suspend strikes on oil refineries in exchange for extending Starlink’s coverage zone by approximately 300 kilometers deeper into the territory of the aggressor state. This would allow Ukraine’s Defense Forces to strike missile launchers used by the Russian military to attack Ukrainian cities.
EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph. The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries. ‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement. But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe. The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown. ‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

Ukraine's Starlink is still restricted and Russia sanctions lifted by Trump and there's nothing Republicans will say because the guys chiefly responsible for holding their majority want it this way xitter.gq/christopherjm/status/2…
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone." He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population." He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory." "They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this." He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Republican Senator Thom Tillis SLAMS Trump for suspending Russia sanctions: “Beyond irresponsible. What part of enforcing a law passed 86-11 by the Senate does the President and his advisors not understand? It’s unconscionable that this administration is capitulating to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians every single day. If the President wants to actually bring down energy prices, he can do it by solving the Iran problem, not by doing a solid for Vladimir Putin.”
Trump signed an executive order Friday suspending sweeping tariffs and sanctions targeting Russia, just two days before they were set to take effect under the Lindsey Graham sanctions law he signed last month. Trump told Congress the move was in the U.S. “national interest.”

Something happened a few weeks ago that made Trump drop his mask & come out openly as Putin’s closest ally. If this nuclear power/data center deal is announced, it’s just one element of this heel turn. What is compelling him to do this during election season? What’s the secret?

A difficult day for Russia’s petroleum industry as Ukrainian drones have reportedly targeted Gazprom’s Surgut condensate stabilization plant deep in Western Siberia, at a full 2,500km distance. Built in 1985, it is Russia’s largest gas-condensate processing facility, capable of handling around 12 million tonnes of hydrocarbons annually and producing gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, propane and butane. Any serious disruption here hits far more than a single plant, as Surgut is a major processing hub at the heart of Russia’s oil and gas industry.

To this latest debunking, I’ll add that since Trump lives in a fantasy world, he could scapegoat anyone, any country. But time and again he chooses Ukraine, the nemesis of Vladimir Putin, the one man Trump will never criticize.
The demented clown is so deep in his lies that he can’t make them even remotely believable. Fact: the US didn’t send a single Tomahawk to Ukraine. We used over 1,000 — about a third of our inventory — against Iran. Fact: the Ukrainians did not sell Western weapons. These absurd claims were explicitly debunked when they surfaced about Mexican drug cartels having U.S. military weapons. These came from U.S. storage facilities and have nothing to do with Ukraine. Fact: we did not send $350 billion in weapons and cash to Ukraine. Even after allowing for the fact that the valuation of the old equipment that was gathering moths in storage, some of it to be decommissioned soon, was just accounting (since it was paid for a long time ago), we sent less than $150 billion. The cash component was much, much less, and it went to support the budget to keep basic government functions running. This asshole is trying to pin all the failures of his own idiotic policies on Ukraine. What a pathetic weasel.

Meloni: Unable to advance on the front, Russia is trying to break Ukrainians through terror, cold and darkness. They are hitting power plants, apartment buildings, hospitals and buses. Moscow gained little ground this year and lost much of its recent gains in September. 2/
