Man vill helt enkelt hÄlla koll pÄ dig.
»Europaparlamentet menar att vad som i sammanhanget skall anses utgöra hat âmust not be limited only to certain grounds or motivationsâ.
Ett verktyg i sammanhanget Àr EU:s Digital Services Act (DSA) och unionens Regulation on the Transparency and Targeting of Political Advertising.
Rapporten lyfter fram unionens European Internal Security Strategy och European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).«
European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) och European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) likasĂ„.

đšETHEREUM HAS SOLVED A BLOCKCHAIN TRILEMMA
Vitalik Buterin says Ethereum has finally cracked the blockchain trilemma after a decade of work.
Through zero-knowledge EVMs & PeerDAS, Ethereum can now achieve decentralization, consensus, and high bandwidth all together.
Lars Dobos retweeted
Now that ZKEVMs are at alpha stage (production-quality performance, remaining work is safety) and PeerDAS is live on mainnet, it's time to talk more about what this combination means for Ethereum.
These are not minor improvements; they are shifting Ethereum into being a fundamentally new and more powerful kind of decentralized network.
To see why, let's look at the two major types of p2p network so far:
BitTorrent (2000): huge total bandwidth, highly decentralized, no consensus
Bitcoin (2009): highly decentralized, consensus, but low bandwidth - because itâs not âdistributedâ in the sense of work being split up, itâs *replicated*
Now, Ethereum with PeerDAS (2025) and ZK-EVMs (expect small portions of the network using it in 2026), we get: decentralized, consensus and high bandwidth
The trilemma has been solved - not on paper, but with live running code, of which one half (data availability sampling) is *on mainnet today*, and the other half (ZK-EVMs) is *production-quality on performance today* - safety is what remains.
This was a 10-year journey (see the first commit of my original post on DAS here: github.com/ethereum/research⊠, and ZK-EVM attempts started in ~2020), but it's finally here.
Over the next ~4 years, expect to see the full extent of this vision roll out:
* In 2026, large non-ZKEVM-dependent gas limit increases due to BALs and ePBS, and we'll see the first opportunities to run a ZKEVM node
* In 2026-28, gas repricings, changes to state structure, exec payload going into blobs, and other adjustments to make higher gas limits safe
* In 2027-30, large further gas limit increases, as ZKEVM becomes the primary way to validate blocks on the network
A third piece of this is distributed block building.
A long-term ideal holy grail is to get to a future where the full block is *never* constituted in one single place. This will not be necessary for a long time, but IMO it is worth striving for us at least have the capability to do that.
Even before that point, we want the meaningful authority in block building to be as distributed as possible. This can be done either in-protocol (eg. maybe we figure out how to expand FOCIL to make it a primary channel for txs), or out-of-protocol with distributed builder marketplaces. This reduces risk of centralized interference with real-time transaction inclusion, AND it creates a better environment for geographical fairness.
Onward.

Labeling Nazism âright-wingâ while ignoring its socialist core is a deliberate communist tactic to shield Marxism from its totalitarian parallels.
Key evidence:
âą Party name: National Socialist German Workersâ Party (NSDAP).
âą Hitler: âWe are socialists, we are enemies of todayâs capitalistic economic system.â
âą Policies matched Communist Manifesto planks:
âŠ#2: Heavy progressive income tax (Nazi rates up to 50â95%).
âŠ#5: State centralization of credit (Reichsbank fully subordinated to Hitler).
âŠ#6: State control of communication/transport (railways, radio, press, post centralized).
âŠ#7: State-owned factories and directed production (Reichswerke Göring, Four-Year Plan).
âŠ#8: Mandatory labor (Reich Labor Service; millions in forced labor).
âŠ#10: Free compulsory state education tied to industrial/vocational needs.
Nazism was collectivist and interventionistâfar closer to Marxism than libertarianism.
This reframing uses three communist strategies:
1. Accusatory Inversion (Stalin-era): Project your own authoritarian traits onto the âright.â
2. Ideological Subversion (Bezmenov): Distort language/history to blur facts.
3. Cultural Hegemony (Gramsci): Dominate academia/media to redefine the spectrum.
Result: Leftist totalitarianism gets sanitized.
Reject the rewrite.
Reject the EUâs modern version of the same playbook. đȘđșđ

Exactly - Iâm actually impressed the banks can lobby for this with a straight face and not get kicked out of senatorâs offices. It takes some serious mental gymnastics.
We wonât let anyone reopen GENIUS. Red line issue for us. And will keep advocating for our customers and the crypto industry.
My prediction is the banks will actually flip and be lobbying FOR the ability to pay interest and yield on stablecoins in a few years, once they realize how big the opportunity is for them. So itâs 100% wasted effort on their part (in addition to being unethical).
The innovators dilemma is undefeated.
Banks earn 4.4% on reserves parked at the Fed...
They pay you 0.01% on your savings account.
And now they're lobbying Congress to make sure stablecoins can't offer you anything better.
The GENIUS Act already settled this. Congress spent months hashing out a compromise. Stablecoin issuers can't pay interest directly, but platforms and third parties can offer rewards. Done. Finished. Everyone shook hands.
That was a few months ago.
Now the banking lobby wants to reopen it. They're calling it a "safety concern." They're worried about "community bank deposits."
Independent research shows zero evidence of disproportionate deposit outflows from community banks. Meanwhile, the big banks are sitting on trillions in reserves, collecting interest from the Fed, passing almost none of it to customers.
How this plays out for the most part is that your bank takes your deposit, parks it at the Federal Reserve, earns 4%+ on it, gives you basically nothing. A stablecoin platform wants to share some yield with you and suddenly that's a threat to financial stability?
We saw three different lobbying pushes on this bill in the last year & every single time, the framing is consumer protection, but in reality, every single time, the actual effect would be protecting big banks and incumbent margins.
What you should actually watch for:
-Any amendment that bans "rewards" broadly rather than just direct interest payments from issuers.
-Whether the same legislators worried about stablecoin yields have ever questioned why bank savings rates haven't moved in fifteen years.
-Who's funding the "community bank protection" messaging (Usually not community banks lol)
If Congress caves on this, it sets a (not good) pattern. Pass a framework, let the incumbents lobby it back open, chip away until the new entrants can't compete, and crypto companies aren't the only ones watching. Every fintech considering U.S. markets is taking notes on whether legislation here actually sticks.
We signed on to this letter to show our support and conviction in moving the industry forward in the United States. The next six months will show whether the U.S. wants competitive payments infrastructure or protected banking margins under the guise of "stability"

I god demokratisk ordning. Och med de Àdlaste förevÀndningar.

There is no class of person more smug than a Eurocrat, and no one with less to be smug about.
The EU does not have freedom of speech. The EU has permitted and unpermitted speech. The relevant definition is in Article 11 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, which states the right to free speech may be curtailed for:
- national security
- territorial integrity
- public health
- prevention of disorder or crime
- protection of health or morals(!)
- protection of rights and reputations
- protection of confidential information
- protection of judges' authority & independence.
- anything else "necessary in a democratic society."
The EU is extremely keen on exercising its right to restrict speech. This is in large part because its leaders have often tried - and failed badly at - national democratic politics. Consequently they loathe the people they govern.
Ms von der Leyen, for example, used to be the German Defense Minister. Under her watch, German soldiers joined NATO exercises using broomsticks instead of guns, because no guns were available at the time.
She was then caught up in a major defense contract corruption scandal. When the Bundestag launched an investigation, she deleted her phone records and cited "national security."
The Eurocrat loves a corrupt failure, so naturally she became President of the Commission. Sending your most hated ministers to the EU is the German equivalent of the Vatican relocating child-diddlers to a small village in Botswana.
The Eurocrat nonetheless believes it is born to rule - or at least regulate - the world. It is extremely maternalistic and it both hates and fears innovation, because innovation requires freedom, and the Eurocrat does not understand it.
It is implacably hostile to the Anglosphere tradition, which holds that freedom is the default position. The Eurocrat believes that everything is presumptively illegal unless it says otherwise.
In the last 50 years, the US has built 6 tech companies with a trillion dollar market cap. In that time, the EU Commission admits it has not built a single âŹ100bn tech company from scratch.
It's so bad that in 2024, the EU made more from slapping specious fines on American tech companies than it made in taxes from its entire domestic digital/internet economy.
In 2008, the EU's GDP was 110% the size of the US. It is now around 67%. In that time, the poorest US state has drawn near-level with the richest EU nation.
(The Eurocrat response to this is to smugly point at the Colosseum. Which is fitting, as the EU is a ruin, and it cannot recreate the achievements of its ancestors. Americans, meanwhile, build colosseums for college sports.)
The Eurocrat then demands the right to "regulate our own space," and by this it means "control what is said online."
But it does not have a space to regulate. Everyone uses American tech platforms, because the Eurocrat has made the EU a technological irrelevance. And so the right to self-regulate seamlessly becomes the demand to regulate the American space.
By "regulate" it means "fines and censorship." It thinks it has the right to govern the internet.
These self-satisfied failures, who create nothing, believe they are entitled to tell Americans what they are allowed to say, to read, and to think.
When they're rejected, they puff themselves up, huff a champagne glass full of their own farts, and scold America for refusing to kneel before their betters.
The correct response is: Merry Christmas, go fuck yourselves.
Freedom of speech is the foundation of our strong and vibrant European democracy.
We are proud of it. We will protect it.
Because the @EU_Commission is the guardian of our values.

Men i Bryssel Ă€r friheten villkorad.

EU threatens action after US sanctions 5 prominent Europeans pressuring US companies to censor.
Censorship is the enforcement "muscle" of DEI. The EU made it very profitable.
The EU has quietly set up a system of laws that allow them to shake down US companies for cash. The rake so far? Hundreds of millions and likely to grow.
Who are these 5? They are not innocent European citizen that the EU press is making them out to be. They are militant, powerful bureaucrats and activists:
Thierry Breton - Former EU commissioner, primary Architect for the DSA (Digital Services Act), the legal framework whereby the EU could begin to shakedown US companies for cash, launching the grift.
US Role: Vocal demands against X and Musk, including try to stop X publishing the interview with Trump in the 2024 race (election interference).
Imran Ahmed - CEO, Center for Countering Digital Hate (think of it as SPLC for EU).
Fervent anti-speech advocate, using his organization to target X and other companies with largely cherry picked and misleading data which get wide press coverage.
US Role: Uses this to pressure advertisers to cancel ad spends. US advertisers too. Costing over one billion in damages.
Josephine Ballon and Anna-Lena von Holdenberg - Co-CEOs of HateAid, (think of it as EU version of our ADL).
US Role: They misrepresented "surge" of hate-speech on X, and sued X over failing to remove six (SIX!) posts. They are a "trusted" flagger by the EU, meaning their tainted reports fuel the $ fine machine under the DSA. If they say 6 posts are hate, BAM millions in fines against a social media company.
Clare Melford - CEO of UK based Global Disinformation Index.
US Impact: Creates lists of websites and ranks them for disinformation, flagging sites like Daily Wire, Federalist and New York Post as high risk for disinfo (yes, US companies). They sell this list of sites to companies like Microsoft (who ditched them later), feeding into US based deboosting and censorship.
The total cost to US companies between speech fines, disinformation fines, and loss of advertisers is in the billions already. This is immense, EU gov lead pressure, to silence what YOU can say in the USA, not just worldwide.
These speech censorship orgs masquerading and anti-hate and anti-disinformation? They make millions per year. It's one big grift. The TRUE grift. A small set of companies get to determine what the world gets to say (or else face fines and advertiser bans).
The US is right to push back on it, and it must be one of this admin's top priorities to protect TRUE democracy.
