You know when everyone was like "I trained my agent to speak caveman to save tokens" and I was like "wow wait'll they hear about using terse, precise words to prompt computers"?
Really missed my chance to tweet "tech bros discover computer programming". Damn.
A few bowhead whales born around 1815 might still be alive. They were in their 30s when they first saw a commercial whaling ship; in their 60s when they first heard a propellor; over 100 the first time they heard sonar. I wonder if they remember the silent ocean.
I think this is more true than people give it credit for. I actually work adjacent to the field I did my PhD in, which was basically random chance, but I lean far more heavily on ability to decompose a problem and scaffold a solution than on knowledge about Russia.

Happy Pythagorean Theorem Day!
10/24/26
10² + 24² = 26²
This is the last one we’ll experience in our lifetime.
