Someone said “Dana White for press secretary” and meant the former Pentagon spokesperson. Trump heard “the UFC guy” and went with it. And we’re expected to believe this dumb motherfucker aced three cognitive tests?
This is awful
"I knew I was being assaulted."
Evelyn Yang was 7 months pregnant and alone in her gynecologist's exam room. She was dressed and ready to leave. He said she might need a C-section, pulled her toward him, undressed her and examined her without gloves. About six weeks earlier, police had arrested him in his office for assaulting another patient. It should have been over right there. Instead, Columbia University let him go back to seeing women.
In the video below, she tells CNN what happened in that room.
"I was dressed and ready to go."
"I just kind of froze like a deer in headlights."
"I remember trying to fix my eyes on a spot on the wall and just trying to avoid seeing his face."
She told no one. Not even her husband, Andrew Yang, who ran for president in 2020.
It got worse. 18 women gave statements to the Manhattan DA. She testified to a grand jury. Then the DA's office cut a deal: he gave up his medical license and didn't spend a day in jail. "He was getting off with a slap on the wrist." It was the same DA's office that had once argued to lower Jeffrey Epstein's sex offender status.
In 2020 she told her story on national TV. Federal prosecutors charged him. In 2023 he got 20 years.
More than 500 women have now accused him. Columbia and its hospital have paid more than $1 billion in settlements. Nobody at Columbia has faced criminal charges.
Should the people who sent him back to work be in prison too?
Why are wealthy people such bastards to their children. These people really shouldn't be people society idolises. All of them are truly awful.
Steve Jobs was worth over $200 million at 25. He paid his daughter $385 a month.
Her mother cleaned houses and went on welfare. The county had to sue him to pay it back.
In the video below, his daughter Lisa talks about growing up with him.
Jobs was 23 when she was born. He helped pick her name. Then he denied she was his.
A DNA test said he was the father. He told Time magazine that 28% of men in America could be.
The same year, Apple went public. He became one of the richest young men in the country.
He named a computer after her: the Apple Lisa. For years, he refused to admit it.
One day her mother was on the phone with him, sobbing, begging for money. Lisa, a little girl, took the phone and said: “Just give her some money.” Then she hung up.
Another time, her mother asked him for a house. He said yes. Then he bought one for himself.
At 14 she moved in with him. His condition: she couldn’t see her mother for six months.
Years later, he was dying of cancer. She sat by his bed.
“The thing he kept on saying is, ‘I owe you one, and I’m so sorry.’”
Did she forgive him?
“I think not at the time.”
“In many ways, yes.”
When her memoir came out, his widow and his sister released a statement: her story “differs dramatically from our memories.”
The case for Jobs: he was young, he came back, and he tried to make it right before he died.
The case for Lisa: a billionaire’s daughter shouldn’t have grown up on welfare.
He named a computer after her. He wouldn’t say she was his. On his deathbed, he said, “I owe you one.”
Was “I’m sorry” enough, or did it come 30 years too late?

🚨 NEW: The Government's "Black Sky" contingency plans for a national water or power blackout
- Around 100 BBC staff would be deployed to run an emergency RM radio studio stocked with enough food, water and fuel to keep it running for 3 days
- The BBC would broadcast pre-written Government scripts through the studio, including how to ration water, what to do if toilets stop working and which food to eat first (see scripts below)
- Radio masts would switch to diesel generators to keep broadcasts going for up to 72 hours without electricity
- BBC teams would use satellite phones to stay in contact, with agreed meeting points and backup arrangements if those phones stop working
- They would also report from emergency centres across the UK using satellite-equipped BBC vehicles to help keep information flowing to the public
- Emergency services would have alternative ways to communicate if mobile phone networks stopped working
- The Government is putting £70m towards aircraft that could restore mobile phone and internet coverage across the UK for over a week
Who needs university degrees. Why even have universities. May as well abolish them altogether. The US is the case in point for mates for jobs. What an absolute joke of a place

I'm talking about BRITAIN'S role in slavery. Britain paid £20 million in compensation to slave owners when slavery was abolished in 1833. The enslaved received NOTHING.
In fact, the British taxpayer was still paying off that debt until 2015.
So perhaps understand the argument before telling me I'm stupid.
This is about Britain's history, Britain's responsibility and Britain's refusal to properly acknowledge it. Don't change the subject!!!!
