Throw back to a beautiful trip to Santorini and Naxos 6 years ago
I know exactly where I’d rather be right now!
Pro Tip:
If you’re ever on a flight and are going through some big feelings, do not, whatever you do, do not listen to Carol King’s ‘Tapestry’ Album
This is a list of songs that stab the heart
I love this, today’s post it note mantra is “One step at a time”
Even if I look at it 20times a day….
Some days I really wish I just could pick up the phone and ask my mum or aunty for some advice.
11yrs has flown so fast and I don’t think I’ve needed my mum more than right now.
They do realise The Handmaids Tale was not a ‘How to Guide’ right?

Biased? Perhaps
A fan? Oh yeah!

No need to introduce anything; Australia operates under a secular legal system based on the Australian Constitution and common law. If any cultural or religious rule conflicts with Australian law, Australian law always wins.

In 1987 Pauline Hanson was divorced and alone with three children, when she borrowed money to buy Marsden’s Seafood in Ipswich, a rundown takeaway shop
She turned the business around. For eight years she worked 80 to 90 hours a week, six days a week largely by herself, to support her children and avoid going on benefits
Pauline had no parents or other family support, making it “extremely hard”
Just one of the many reasons we love her 🧡🧡🧡

The most lovely thing I read today
Toddler Cinema is so pure. The show run time is about 19 minutes. The preparation to get them all there takes about 2 hours. You have to have a toddler to get in and we all display ours proudly at the door. ‘Toddler cinema?’ the staff ask, unnecessarily, because it’s 10am and normal people aren’t at the cinema. Then the little tots sit on their silly little booster seats, like tiny royals, enthralled. Occasionally, one of them scrambles into the aisle to have a casual little wee wee on their travel potty, and the others don’t blink an eye. This is normal in their culture. Respectful, even. One of them might randomly shout ‘where is the Gruffalo, mummy?’ because we all watched that last week - but this week’s offering is ‘The Snail and the Whale’. Audience participation is encouraged and frequent. Mine yells, ‘IT’S AN OCTOPUS’ at a fish, but no one minds because accuracy is unimportant here. Once the show ends we all agree it was the best thing we have ever seen in our entire lives (at least since last week) and the tiny toddlers clap their tiny hands but they stick together a bit because we’ve been eating the snacks we aren’t allowed at home. The adults do not converse. But we exchange tiny little nods of respect. You are a fellow toddler cinema parent. It costs £3.85 for a toddler and 85p for an adult which is the best money you’ll spend in your entire life. Those 19 minutes were worth it, we think. See you next week.
