"Deepinder's science team for science is as good as Taliban's education ministry is for womens education."
To the people disparaging the Indian medical community, please note that we, me included, are not against technological solutions towards improved preventative care. In fact, preventative care is is the heart of medical science. But, let us not confuse fradulently selling preventive care from selling objectively verified actionable preventive care. Deepinder, who owns Temple and has already started taking pre-orders from customers for the device has taken the name of other wearables and claimed that his process was also the due process followed before Whoop, Apple, Fitbit etc.. were also marketed. This is a BLATANT LIE. Rob Mohr (Lead Physician on Temple) and Avi Roy (Science Lead on Temple) have both being running around with their tails on fire like rats jumping of an exploding ship on Instagram and Twitter. They have provided zero evidence to Temple device claims on their website. Deepinder himself claims that other wearables in the market published data after release. Total nonsense. The Apple Watch Series 11 and Fitbit Sense had the strongest pre-launch clinical evidence. Before shipping ECG tools, Apple and Fitbit passed multi-site clinical trials for FDA clearance. The Fitbit Sense 2 and Apple Watch Series 11 42mm also built on 400,000-person heart studies before launch. The Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Sense Black, and Fitbit Sense Lunar White/Soft Gold combine FDA-cleared ECG with cEDA sweat sensing. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic and Samsung Galaxy Watch9 passed FDA sleep apnea trials before release. Meanwhile, the Oura Ring 4 and Whoop 4.0 launched as wellness trackers backed by peer-reviewed sleep studies. Their skin temperature sensors power FDA-cleared Natural Cycles (K202897) fertility software. Even basic models like the Apple Watch SE 3 and Apple Watch SE use validated optical heart algorithms...all of which are... ...UNLIKE Temple. By contrast, Temple opened ₹85,000 pre-orders with zero regulatory approvals and no peer-reviewed papers. It's only backed by company's internal, not validated, non-peer reviewed, not conclusive, statistically misinterpreted preprints on 23 adults and 44 young men. Choose the WHOOP 4.0 or Oura Ring 4 if you want screenless overnight heart rate variability and recovery tracking. Pick the Apple Watch Series 11 or Samsung Galaxy Watch8 for FDA-cleared cardiac and sleep apnea alerts. Treat Temple as an unverified wellness gadget until peer-reviewed clinical trials prove its brain flow claims. Initial studies already prove it has nothing to with the brain function. PRE-ORDERS MUST BE HALTED AS THIS IS UNETHICAL, IMMORAL. Deepinder's science team for science is as good as Taliban's education ministry is for womens education. Temple as a device for brain flow monitroing is as useful as a bikini on the mackerel. Deepinder is a businessman. He has already entered the realm on andhbhakts and right wing nationalist with his plastic device "that does nothing" to help boost pre-sales. I dont mind this. The device does not track brain activity and in any case and thats ok with the andbhakts supporting him and the ones abusing me under my posts. But Deepinder taking a U-turn and calling a supposed brain function tracking device as "fitness tracker" also is a scam because it has not been proven to be a fitness tracker too. People can stick a nice looking Lego piece on their foreheads and it would still function as good as Temple does now. Now its time for the founder to rage 😘😘😘 or better, stop shipping a junk product.

And the funny thing is that third world radfems have more salt in feminist conversations than first world libfems. You study the theory, we live the praxis 😭😭😭
"third worlder radfems" is really the new white feminists and I find it soooo ironic

Claims made by Science Team and founder Deepinder Goyal about their wearable - Temple Device - on their website, podcasts, media interviews and special events before the product is shipped out for 85000/- INR - and proof for those claims. Claim1 : Real-Time Cerebral Blood Flow Tracking - The device claims to continuously monitor blood flow and oxygenation inside the brain—a metric they brand as "BrainFlow"—using light-based optical sensors placed against the skin near the temporal artery. PROOF - ZERO. Claim 2: Biological Entropy Monitoring - The device outputs a proprietary "Entropy Score" ranging from 1 to 250. The company claims this score (which remain absolutely not validated) quantifies the body's real-time metabolic and sympathetic strain—essentially measuring "how hard the body is working to shed heat" and manage stress, sleep, or recovery. PROOF - ZERO. Claim 3: Superior Heart Rate Tracking Accuracy - The manufacturer claims that the Temple device is the most accurate heart rate tracker on the market, outperforming flagship wrist-based wearables even during high-intensity training (Zone 4 & 5 exercises). PROOF - ZERO. Claim 4: Insights into Longevity and Aging - The tool is marketed to explore the "Gravity Aging Hypothesis". The manufacturer implies that tracking changes in brain blood flow can help users manage physiological stress, optimize lifestyle choices (like hydration and sleep), and track indicators linked to long-term cognitive health and aging. PROOF - ZERO. WHAT CLAIMS ARE CURRENTLY PROVEN FOR TEMPLE DEVICE AS PER NON-PEER REVIEWED PRE-PRINTS? - Temple device can sense flushing and increased blood flow to the skin of the temple region and scalp in people who are active. THAT IS IT. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ABOVE CLAIMS or BRAIN FUNCTION.

I studied art. And I studied who the subjects in a lot of the art were. Repeatedly enslaved women, colonised women, and sexualised and abused underage girls. In that sense, yes the history of nude art has a lot in common with porn.
Replying to @RevytheTiefling
People who say porn destroyed society have never taken an art history class.

To be sexually appealing as a female is to be sexually degraded from the very beginning of puberty. You're 14? That 50 year old man only sees big boobs. You're trying to exercise? You're accused of being a whore for wearing gym clothes AT the gym. Et cetera and so forth.

Macroeconomic factors exist outside of headlines too fyi. US elections will always remain a matter of global concern because of their network and participation in multiple economies. Why would you not give this attention again? Choices aren’t made in a vacuum.

choice feminism has done so much damage to actual feminism it pisses me off so bad. any critique of anything is always followed up with a bunch of what ifs, "have you ever considered—" and "its her choice!" like we are really never making it outta patriarchy—
too many women seem to think that pointing out misogyny is an endorsement of said misogyny simply because questioning patriarchal dynamics makes them uncomfortable. is basic feminist critique that hard to understand?

i think as a feminist on the radical/rad-leaning side you have to accept that the majority of women can't be saved. they will actually hate & attack you for pointing out how they're being oppressed. it can be disheartening to realise this but it conserves your peace & energy.

Indians are being sold municipal failure as upward mobility: buying purifiers for unsafe water & toxic air, private transport as public transit fails. As incomes rise & capitalists institutionalise civic failures, accountability will decline & cities will deteriorate further.

I know a man in my society who committed rape in his youth. Now that he has grown old, and everyone knows he's a rapist, yet no one says anything to him. But there was a girl who had sex before marriage, and to this day, everyone calls her characterless.
Society shames women for having a lot of consensual sex more than it shames men for rape.

i think no-one is really compatible, both platonically or romantically. i think you choose the people by your side and you make constant efforts and learn how to love them and cherish them and i think that's so much more beautiful than just fate or compatibility
