I wrote a little blog about how I live/work with low vision. lowvisiondave.com/blog/livin…
Stoked for this one!

npm types can lie
scriptc can now check values crossing from npm packages into your typed code against their TypeScript declarations
→ Mismatches throw a runtime TypeError
→ No validation code added to your app
tfw your current favourite band isn't touring anywhere near you anytime soon so you start looking at flights

What if there was an Ikon/Epic Pass for open weight models?
Is this gonna replace your Claude/codex subscription? No
But it's the beginning of a new way to broaden token usage beyond the proprietary models at an affordable price. 100% zero data retention and no unexpected TOS restrictions
Introducing Token Pass. Get $80 in GLM 5.3 and Kimi K3 tokens for $30/mo.
• Two open models, one API key
• US and EU providers
• ZDR on by default
Early access is open to the first 500 Pro teams.

Next.js 16.4 adds 𝚗𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚐𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗(), a new API for keeping parts of a route out of prefetches until someone actually navigates.
I built Stamp, a mailbox inspired by the example in the release post, to try it. Visible rows prefetch thread headers, while message bodies wait for navigation, so scrolling never downloads emails you don't open.

Replying to @nextjs
The new 𝚗𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚐𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗() API lets you exclude parts of a page from being rendered during a prefetch.
Use it to prerender only the most meaningful UI ahead of time, and defer more expensive secondary content until an actual user navigation.
International solo travel with a visual impairment isn't the easiest thing to do. I'm proud of myself for pushing my limits the last couple of years. It feels good to be independent and do the thing!
I wish y'all could see the cool shit @vercel has cooking. Well, you will, you'll just have to wait for it.
I heard an ad on the radio for financial services that claims AI can make mistakes. Are they not including "make no mistakes" in their prompt? Rookie mistake.
Seeing a lot more loser behaviour lately. It's not very difficult to be a good person with some empathy. Please try harder.
