I like when people discover how ASS some of these celebrities were.
Rihanna wasnât even afforded the dignity of being treated like a victim. Her trauma became public spectacle, celebrities were calling BOTH of them victims, others were more concerned about Chris Brownâs career, and people were already demanding everyone move on. The media scrutinized her more than they empathized with her. And THIS is the cultural climate in which she released Rated R. Thatâs why Iâll forever defend that era. She refused to let the world reduce her to what happened to her.
