For each tutorial you do, customize the project you just completed. Deploy it on heroku, github pages etc. Push code on github. Even better create few on your own apart from tutorial.
Finally, create a portfolio website, showcase your projects. Start Applying for jobs.
I ran into similar situation with a fellow senior engineer, he requested review for PR I commented issues his agent started to fix it and reply me on GitHub while I can see uithe said engineer was offline. Who is doing the work ? The reviewer or the person who provide 1st prompt
Never hiring freshers again.
I’m literally spoon feeding the problem, the approach and the exact prompts they should give claude step by step.
At that point, who is actually doing the engineering?
The problem with a lot of freshers today isn’t that they use AI..The problem is they can’t think what actually the problem is and what exactly needs to be solved
“Claude, solve this” is not software engineering.
Then they wonder why companies don’t want to hire freshers.

The user names are unique not just for WhatsApp users but its unique across WhatsApp and Facebook combined (possibly othr meta apps) I tried Lutif , it said not available gave me option to log in via fb if I have same username there I did and I got the user name
With WhatsApp rolling out usernames, I tried to reserve mine today.
I completely understand that ‘Manish Sisodia’ is not a unique name, so it’s quite possible that many versions of my name have already been taken.
But what surprised me is that almost every variation using my name along with “AAP” also seems to have been reserved-for example, Manish.Sisodia.AAP, Manish_Sisodia_AAP, ManishSisodiaAAP, and several similar combinations.
As far as I know, there isn’t another Manish Sisodia associated with AAP. If someone else has reserved these usernames, it raises a genuine concern about impersonation and the possibility of misleading people.
I urge @WhatsApp and @Meta to look into this and introduce a proper verification and grievance mechanism so that public identities cannot be misused and users are protected from impersonation.

Interviewed with an edtech startup bragging about “80 universities” and “millions of users.”
I asked, “How many daily active users?”
Saw despair on the HR face: “Hmm… don’t have those numbers.”
Knew their “users” were just student accounts created once and never used again.
Learning Go was frustrating for me.
Not because Go is hard, it's actually one of the cleaner languages out there. But because every resource felt disconnected. Read a concept, switch to your
editor, write some code, realize you have no idea how to test it, Google the error, lose
progressive depth that I wished existed when I was starting out.
100% free. Runs offline. No strings attached.
It's the learning environment I wanted. I built it because it didn't exist.
If you're trying to get serious about Go, or you know someone who is,
check it out and drop a ⭐ if it's useful:

I sent a check of 5M, only to have the cashier call me and ask me not to withdraw it because it’s month-end and he’s struggling to meet targets. I was shocked. What the hell, man, I can’t even get my own money back without a 20-minute argument.
pakistani banks are actually funny; went to UBL to withdraw 3m from my sister’s acc and first they tried to convince me that i should j open an account w them and when i refused i got treated so poorly. then i went to HBL to deposit the same 3m in my own account and here i didnt wait in the queue, sat in the managers office and he did everything, brought chai, and exchanged number in case i ever want a loan. and i know theyll also treat me like ubl the day i go there to cashout my money.
In 2022, I applied to Trivago.
What followed were months of interviews: multiple rounds, a take-home assignment, meetings with the team, and conversations with their senior engineers.
Finally, the email arrived.
Offer: $70K USD + visa sponsorship to Germany to join their
I had an offer from an incredibly well-funded startup in early 2020 ($150M+ raised). I was supposed to join their ML team in April. I had already resigned and was serving my notice when COVID hit.
HR called and said they were deferring my offer. Assured me the offer was safe and that they just wanted me to join once offices reopened.
For the next couple of months we stayed in touch. Every conversation repeated the same thing: the offer is safe. The market was dead, so I spent the time doing research with an ex-advisor.
We finally set my joining date: June 1st.
In the last two weeks of May I had multiple calls with my future manager. We discussed MacBook configs, projects I’d work on, brainstormed approaches. I even shared my shipping address for the laptop.
Two days before joining they rescinded the offer.
That day I learned something important:
Your employer will not hesitate to rescind an offer or lay you off if it benefits them.
You shouldn’t feel guilty about optimizing for yourself either.
Everyone is optimizing for their own interests. It’s a ruthless market.
An employer has 100 / 1000 / 10000 employees.
You only have one job.
the termination letter arrived by post — likely to protect themselves from any legal implications.
A hard lesson I learned that day:
For companies, it’s rarely personal. You’re not a person in a story — you’re a number in a spreadsheet.
So take care of yourself,

Interviewed a backend developer.
Guy was at 21 LPA. We offered 28 LPA, roughly a 33 percent hike. He agreed and confirmed joining.
Yesterday he emailed saying he got a 32 LPA offer elsewhere and now wants 36 LPA from us.
Nonsense. Why agree in the first place.
If you are still shopping offers just say it upfront. We stopped interviewing other candidates and waited through the notice period for the joining date.
Now two days before joining, he came back with a new price tag.
