We’ve been learning about the 7 Sacred Teachings every morning! Our first virtue of respect was taught from the Buffalo! Every single student put their fingerprint as a signature for showing respect to everything and everyone around us! @macattackteach (Artist -Henry Guimond)

Grade 1s did wonderful weaving their own talking sticks today! Then we got to use them in our sharing circle where we learned the importance of oral traditions of indigenous communities!🗣 Can’t wait to use these throughout the rest of the year! @macattackteach

@visserones I delivered the grade one letters to super heroes today! RCMP, Fire Station and Urgent Care were all so touched and happy to receive your letters of love and support. I’m so very proud of your giving spirit and desire to spread the love 💚. @rvsed @heronscrossing

Heard honks and excited kids so I looked out my temp office window to see @heronscrossing staff driving by and kids with signs excited to see and hear their teachers drive by. Keep connections in an age of at-home learning and social distancing. #RVSed
