Github is up! I'm calling this ProGearSDK (IYKYK). github.com/manicakes/ProGear… Important notes below 👇
So I built a complete game engine for the Neo Geo (1990 arcade hardware) in 3 days using Claude Code. Physics engine, Z80 audio driver in assembly, parallax scrolling, spring-based UI animations, full asset pipeline. Here's what went into it ...

U2. Their massive sales and critical status rest on earnest stadium anthems built around delay effects and Bono's persona more than consistent innovation or depth relative to peers. The reputation-to-substance gap is among the widest.

I dream of a new world. User interfaces that entirely remove the concept of resizing. Desktop monitors are all fixed 3:2 aspect ratios and available in one fixed physical ANSI-standard size. Windows cannot be resized by the user, the size is prescribed by the program at compile time -- this way, WYSADTIWYG: What you see at design time is what you get. You can design interfaces freely, with great liberty knowing that they will never be resized, as if it is a physical object like a piece of paper. No phones or iPads to design for and they do not exist. Keyboards have dedicated F1-F24 function keys (tilted forward). Touchscreens are an instant impossibility. No animation API in the operating system. Standardized action buttons on the keyboard (CONFIRM/REJECT). Nothing floats, everything is anchored to the window frame. Input latency is sub-millisecond. UI shows the state of important metrics and program features at all times, visible and never hidden. Nothing slides. Nothing moves. No emojis, only ascii-128 (no utf-8). Scrolling ok with scroll bar visible at all times. There is no concept of notifications. Computer state in a dedicated area on the monitor, always visible, cannot be hidden. No HDR in UI. No markdown.

A CNN investigation has found that while Jared Kushner acted as a key Middle East peace negotiator, his private equity firm held the largest stake in an Israeli company backing businesses tied to Israel's military campaign in Gaza, including its largest arms manufacturer. cnn.it/4y0xe5x

NeXTSTEP is such an enigma in the grand scheme of computer history. It’s like the modern equivalent of your nerdiest developers leaving to spend a decade fucking around with low level kernel drivers and UI frameworks that customers don’t understand and sales guys don’t know how to sell. They make no money for years, but they also hard launch the computer animation industry along the way by accident. Then, on the cusp of irrelevancy, they come back, immediately stop being nerds and go on to lead the greatest product led development cycle in history. Nobody ever remembers Steve Jobs as the object oriented inter-process-communication guy, but he was. He personally hired the original designer of the Mach kernel. What the hell?

Deeply concerning
Satya Nadella reveals his coding agent pulls every hyperscaler and neoclouds' SEC filings into a dashboard that refreshes every day for real-time ROIC "And this is the other aspect of it, which is the enterprise context combined with the world's context. In fact, I go to the SEC filings of every cloud provider, hyperscaler, each of these neoclouds. It's in real time." "I have a data runner in Fabric that brings all that data, puts it into a semantic model that then gets read by my coding agent and then surfaces it as a dashboard. And every day it's fresh." "So I have the entirety of every SEC filing that goes out there, plus all of my internal analysis constantly coming together, giving me real-time ROIC by layer."

yeah so basically trump got cocky after succeeding with venezuela and had a hot hand and decided to double down and strike iran in february thinking they could take over the country in a couple of weeks despite everyone telling him it was a bad idea and would drag on nothing really happened and then Iran learned that they can actually close the strait of hormuz and were unsure if it would even work but now its become obvious they can do it and feel empowered. the iranians have a longer history as a culture and are slow walking trump as much as possible as they know that higher oil prices are going to ruin his odds in the midterms and weaken him not only that but now higher energy prices are putting upward pressure on inflation and bond yields which has made the job of his new fed chair warsh who came in under a premise of potential rate cute but because of the iran war were entering a rate hiking cycle the only person in the room who was trying to juggle all of this was scott bessent but after trying to juggle everything for so long he decided he was going to try and fight the bond vigilantes to lower bond yields and declared himself as the house. but he showed up to the bond fight with hardly any ammunition and now the bond market is calling his bluff and now the bond auctions are going terrible and he looks like a fool now so now bond yields are surging export bans on diesel are being put in place as an act of desparation midterms are a total write off and the trump admin is about to spend the next two years probably fighting impeachment hearings while things continue to detoriorate and the funny thing about all of this is he won the presidency off the idea of no more foreign wars but its his own foreign war with iran that started this whole mess and now the free market is testing them all
