Artists: Did you ever have a bad art-school critique that really set you back, knocked you off your pins?
What was it? Keep it short; don’t exaggerate. Often, it can be the least thing.
Have you ever made a “revenge” work of art?
What was it?

Café Arpan in Juhu, Mumbai opens today with staff entirely of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Simple menu but surely a UNIQUE experience. Let’s encourage these noble initiatives!

I need someone to explain to me why it’s always “if you can’t pay rent, buy fewer lattes and avocado toasts” and not “if you can’t pay your employees a living wage, buy fewer yachts and real estate”.
Explain it to me like I’m in kindergarten.

If I hadn't had an abortion when I was 28, I wouldn't have met my husband or had my daughter.
If I hadn't had an abortion when I was 34, my daughter wouldn't have a mother.
It was never about 'life'. These people can go fuck themselves.

In @Mint_Lounge, I pay tribute to #SaleemKidwai, historian, translator, queer activist, mentor & friend, whose work transformed how Indians perceived same-sex desire.
He did so by bringing the stories of those once forgotten & marginalized, to the fore.
