How bad is this for Bailey? He's actually the second-lowest in vote totals among the statewide Republicans with 86% in. Only SoS candidate Diane Harris is lower. Her campaign was pretty local to Joliet. Treasurer candidate Max Solomon barely campaigned and has more votes ATM
With 86% of the vote in, Gov. JB Pritzker has surpassed his 2022 vote totals and is now at 2.3 million and climbing. Darren Bailey, meanwhile, is still 300,000 votes behind his total

In what universe would it make sense for DeSantis to put on a radioactive sport coat? No way he does this.
NEW: CBS News’ @JenniferJJacobs reports that Ron DeSantis is being floated as a possible replacement for Pete Hegseth. Under one scenario, DeSantis could be confirmed by the Senate during the lame-duck session and take over as Secretary of Defense when his term as Florida governor ends on January 5.

Hey, @thekyleyates, I hope your boy stayed up late to watch his Bears tonight. As Bears fans, the good feels so much better because of all the bad. Bear down!
And my seven year old is now one of us. Can all you sports fans offer my boy some encouragement in the comments? 😂 I’d love to read them to him tomorrow when he wakes up.

I worked with a dedicated volunteer network to collect petition signatures in all 77 neighborhoods and 50 wards of Chicago. Every signature came with a conversation about the way forward for Chicago. I am fully confident in the quality of our signatures - we have more than the amount required to make the ballot. Unlike my challenger, Mr. Kelly, there is no question that I am a legal resident of Chicago. I am the only candidate in this race with the proven fiscal crisis management skills necessary to meet our City’s urgent needs. Other candidates have every reason to fear running against me. Our time zones are too wide. We don’t have enough time zones. The argument about ST vs. DST is unproductive.
Hope all you psycho whack jobs are happy about this. Enjoy midnight at 6 PM. 🫠

Massie has done all the things Trump was supposed to do. Massie was 'voted out' (with a RECORD amount of money spent to make sure he was voted out). And we're stuck with Trump, who continues to crush our society into a fine powder.
MY RECORD America First -voted against foreign aid Release Epstein Files -passed the bill No More Wars -wrote 1st Iran WPR Reduce the Deficit -opposed BBB spending plus up Make America Healthy Again -PRIME Act in Farm Bill Transparency -enforced 3 day rule to read bills

Thomas Massie embodies my hope that an upstanding man with great intelligence, combined with common sense, a big heart and sterling integrity, can be drawn to leadership for humanitarian reasons and stay in the fray out of his convictions for a better country and a better world.

If Massie were to run for president as a 3rd party, he’d clear 5% trigger federal matching funds and in so doing create a durable new lane in politics, if he got 10% (very doable) that party would legally become a major party. In the course of getting that 5%+, he’d build an email list of millions and assemble a new donor class. Could you then from that dataset find 4-5 guys in purple, winnable districts to elect to the house as a wedge that can shut the whole congress down if they dont give us peace and address spending and the debt? Could you arrange that party in such a way that it could endorse Rs when that makes sense, endorse Ds if that ever makes sense, or run its own people and thus weaponize its ballot presence into torqueable leverage? I think not only can it be done, but I think it is far more likely to happen and with less effort and money than winning a primary dominated by out of touch boomers and where the coalition that would be assembled in the general is constrained out of the process.
