Hey #YGK it's time to get rid of your expired boat distress flares! We'll have the bin at Collins Bay Marina, Sat. June 10, 1 PM - 4 PM. Expired flares sometimes misfire in spectacularly destructive ways, or sometimes fizzle. Hard to predict. Better to just replace them.
An Australian dude on a boat is waving a handheld red pyro flare at night. He's very glad that it's an in-date flare that burns properly, and not an expired one that might blow up in his hand or drop boiling-hot chunks of degraded fuel on the deck.
