He opened an account, lost track of the number, and kept sending nurses to help.
He said the recipients included actors, comics, and people who reached out on Instagram. Some received monoclonal antibodies, and he never calculated how much he spent.
That was the opposite of the Fauci era: instead of telling people what they couldn’t do, he paid for the treatment himself and sent help to their doors.
