If no new government can be formed by the likely election winner (Eizenkot), Netanyahu automatically continues as PM and new elections are held ("at some point")

They told us we didn't know enough about Israel to weigh in and now that folks know they say we are over focused on it lol. Sure Bret. You fucking shanda.

Fun fact: 400,000 native Palestinian residents of Jerusalem are defined by Israeli law as neither Palestinian citizens, nor Israeli. As a result, they don't have political representation anywhere and vote nowhere - not even in the fake occupation instrument called 'the Palestinian Authority'.
With the knowledge, blessing and approval of almost every country in the world, and every international institution, on top of every other atrocity and crime against humanity documented, Israel holds 400,000 people under full ,formal denial of every political right given to any other human being on this planet.
No vote. No parliament. No representation. Transparent subjects.

Campaigning for warmongering neocon Mike Rogers, Robert F. Kennedy Jr says Arabs are genetically inferior and produce nothing but war and victimization
That's how far back ZOG existed in the US - based on these FBI files with illegal arms exports starting right in 1948, it likely even predates the "foundation" of the state of israel
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 Newly released FBI files show that in 1948 Americans were secretly shipping explosives and warplanes to Israel against US law, and the man who founded AIPAC registering as an Israeli foreign agent
Here's why that matters in plain terms... In 1947 the US government banned arms shipments to Palestine. People shipped them anyway.
The FBI arrested four men when mislabeled explosives turned up on a Jersey City pier, and another group smuggled 30 aircraft out of Florida and got fined for it; one of those men later built Israel's aircraft industry and got a pardon from Bill Clinton.
The files also describe the ADL, the group that says it fights antisemitism, getting hold of private Arab League papers in New York through a reporter.
The biggest detail is a name: Isaiah Kenen. In 1951 he told the Justice Department his first client would be the Israeli government and agreed to register as a foreign agent, which is the legal requirement for anyone working for a foreign country inside the US.
Kenen then founded AIPAC, the most powerful pro-Israel group in Washington, which has never registered that way.
It says it represents Americans, not Israel.
So why does a 75-year-old archive land now? Because AIPAC changed its money rules last week to make its donations harder to trace, because the ADL's own chief brags about 40 analysts watching Americans who protest the war, and because Congress is voting right now on a bill to share more US intelligence with Israel.
The 1951 government made Kenen sign a form saying who he worked for. Why hasn't the government asked the question since?

Pretty crazy that @UpFirst didn't mention a likely reason Lula came in second in the first round was because of Meta and X collusion to bolster Bolsanaro. Not sure they can be trusted anymore.

American conservatives are constantly bemoaning the decline of aesthetic standards and calling for a return to classical Roman architecture, but are now forced to defend the Cheesecake Factory. A constant tension between the Brooks Brothers patrician and the Kid Rock populist.

Cheesecake Factory populism is so weird to me because the rise of chain restaurants created over-the-top, replicable dining experiences, which eventually put the final squeeze on mom-and-pop restaurants, such as the US version of trattorias. I would argue those family-owned neighborhood businesses made the dining experience feel more special and pulled communities together. The shift to chain restaurants homogenized American life and concentrated corporate power. Strange to frame corporate consolidation as "populism."
Side-note: Gadi Eizenkot is the guy who invented the "Dahiya doctrine", the large scale targeting of civilians and destruction of civilian infrastructure (aka state terrorism) to pressure other governments
israel is the most deranged "society" in existence today
BREAKING: Former IDF chief Gadi Eizenkot projected to become Israeli Prime Minister after Tuesday’s election, replacing Netanyahu.
52% chance.
