UNI's token jar mechanism is elegant and simple but it leaks a lot of protocol value in the form of MEV.
During yesterday’s volatility, 19.2% of the released fees released never reached the UNI burn. In just 6 hours $320k leaked to builders ($240k) and searchers ($80k).
TLDR:
We built token jar to handle the problem of collecting fees in a million different tokens across a ton of different deployments and needing to convert to just one thing as efficiently as possible: burned uni
Now we’re offering that tech to all of crypto, but it can be converted to whatever you want - a stablecoin in an exchange wallet, your project token in a multi-sig, Uniswap type burn, etc
Integrating is a no brainer if your project collects revenue in multiple tokens
The incredible speed of DeFi!
Today, wallet 0xC3B used an Aave flashloan contract to repay a $500k loan with its $LINK collateral in just 1 second.
15 steps, one transaction, no extra capital. Over $500k settled at 08:07:23.
DeFi is wild!

Defi protocols should be built on a rocksolid foundation, from the ground up. Custom actions baked into bundles with native trading intents fulfilled and executed by @CoWSwap solver network
Building a contract from scratch for every DeFi workflow? Bold. Unnecessary, but bold.

The 85-year-old who chose to die to save his family.
On October 7, Hamas terrorists went from house to house in Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
Shlomo Ron, 85, understood what was happening - but he had a plan.
He told his wife, two daughters, and grandson to hide in the safe room. They tried to convince him to come inside with them.
He refused.
Shlomo believed that if the terrorists entered and found an old man sitting alone in the living room, they would assume he lived alone, kill him, and move on without searching the rest of the house.
So he sat down in his armchair and waited.
The terrorists entered.
They saw Shlomo alone.
They shot him dead—and moved on without searching the rest of the house.
Exactly as he had hoped.
His wife, daughters, and grandson survived.
Shlomo Ron, one of the founders of Nahal Oz, was 85 years old and unarmed.
His final act was to give his life to protect his family.

On January 1, 1983, ARPANET switched to TCP/IP, and separate networks became one internet. Everything before that is now prehistory.
This is Ethereum's 1983. We knew atomic composability would work in theory. On mainnet, it still feels like magic. ✨
Atomic synchronous composability is no longer a promise. History made on mainnet: the first atomic cross-chain L1->L2 transaction ever 🔥 And this is only the beginning for EEZ ... 🚀 @etheconomiczone

Only on @CoWSwap your average execution price is BETTER than what you got quoted!
Replying to @newmichwill @koeppelmann
dune.com/queries/8886072/129… shows quote deviation for CoW Swap (Mainnet) in September. Median as well as vol weighted mean is positive for all trade size buckets.
Most "classic" aggregators eat 100% of positive slippage so you never get more than quoted.

cowpy is the Python SDK for @CoWSwap interactions.
It gives builders native tools for MEV protected trading, order book management, smart contract execution, subgraph queries, and multi-chain support.
Usage across the last six months:
• $18M in volume
• 27K PyPI downloads
• 8.8K orders across 6 chains
Get started with:
pip install cowdao-cowpy

Using TWAPs should basically be your default if you trade with a longer time horizon. They reduce slippage and spread out your timing risk. @CoWSwap has offered them for a long time, but they just got a major improvement. Try it!
Was noticing @NexusMutual book value is not keeping pace with $ETH in a bull market because it needs some stable allocation (assuming for cover/runway).
Thought it’d be nice to allocate some % of cover premium to buy ETH calls on @DeriveXYZ.
Imo it’ll give NXM some extra upside
Great post, makes me very bullish 🐂
Re “The Cryptographic World Computer”, need some work on copywriting but it is encapsulated complexity, so we’ll figure it out 🙃
The cryptographic world computer:

My attempt to express in somewhat concise terms the true meaning of basically everything planned to happen to Ethereum starting from the fork after Hegota. It's really not just a blockchain anymore. It's a hybrid architecture that combines together blockchains and modern cryptography, to enable much more powerful properties.
FOCIL, EIP-8288, Lean consensus, state management, formal verification, advanced mempool improvements (including privacy), and the longer-term specter of obfuscation all mentioned.

It's an underappreciated triumph of Ethereum client developers that PeerDAS has now been running for nearly a year with basically no problems.
PeerDAS was a complex task: it's the first large-scale instance of a blockchain that achieves consensus on the availability of data without needing any single node to download the entire block. Decentralized consensus without replication.
And yet, it worked.
I’ve been looking to buy some OTM SOL calls.
Been really underwhelmed by the RFQ quotes I’ve got from @DeriveXYZ compared to what I can simply find on Deribit’s book.
I’m a DRV bull but tbh disappointed a bit rn

.@Trueo_ just moved from Base to mainnet - trading fast blocks and lower fees for "higher integration potential" and deep liquidity. With EEZ @etheconomiczone you can have BOTH. Be on a cheap and fast L2 and STILL have full composability with L1!
Dapps that want to try an early devnet can reach out now!
THE BLOCK: Onchain prediction market protocol Trueo announced its migration from Base to Ethereum, citing the mainnet's "highest integration potential and product upside."
Vitalik Buterin welcomed the move, touting Trueo as a strong prediction market contender that is focused on decentralization, ethical, and "not corposlop."
