The largest investments in Bulawayo since 2000 both proposed & completed. @CityofBulawayo
1. Waste to Energy Plant (USD150m) [stage: proposed]
2. Glassblock Bopoma Dam Pipeline (USD100m) [stage: proposed]
3. Delta Belmont Brewery Upgrade (USD35m) [stage: proposed]
4. ZICES Fairgrounds Shopping Mall (USD24m) [stage: works underway]
5. National Foods Plants (wheat & milling plant] USD8,6m [stage: proposed]
Do you know any others?
Bulawayo must be friendly and welcoming to investment because no one will put these developments in their pockets & go off with them once they are in the ground…
Of course every city in Zimbabwe needs this.
I wish our reporters could track such issues and share in the public interest. User generated content may continue dilute the value of professional journalism & micro bloggers quality editorials.

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, just as you are progressing spiritually. 3 John 1:2
Have a blessed Sunday and a victorious, productive, prosperous, fruitful and fruitful week ahead.
Operation Mardon: Rhodesian forces attack ZANLA positions in Mozambique.
On 31 October 1976, Rhodesian forces launched coordinated cross-border attacks against ZANLA positions and supply routes in Mozambique under Operation Mardon. The operation involved Rhodesian SAS and Light Infantry units attacking targets in Tete Province, while Selous Scouts operated in Gaza Province. Its objectives included disrupting ZANLA infiltration and weakening Robert Mugabe's military position during the Geneva negotiations.
J.R.T. Wood records that attacks began on 31 October, although the assault on the Mudzi camp was delayed until 1 November. An Institute for Security Studies account also dates the Selous Scouts' Gaza operation to 31 October.

The irony of how their kind of 'resistance' is only attractive for the cowards who left the country telling those who stayed to work Zimbabwe to put themselves in the firing 'line' .😂🤣😂🤣

It’s estimated that during the glory days of the MDC , they had 2 shortwave radio stations, one in UK and one in USA broadcasting to Zimbabwe, numerous websites and hundreds of NGOs that pumped over half a billion in USD.
They had the kind of funding that could thrash Mugabe like they did in Referendum and 2008 election. Despite not having military backing they forced a GNU.
The cash eventually ran out. The crumbs left where a scramble for fellowships , weird election briefcase advocacy groups and access to a passionate diaspora who would find invisible bulletproof cars and whilst underfund “vote protections”.
The war then moved ONLINE where the Zanu PF targets are way too hard for these lazy cashtivists. They know where the Army general stays in the Brooke. They know the location of every First Childs money laundry fake business in Zimbabwe… nope. They prefer fighting other pro”democracy” “handles”. Who loved the dear leader more, citizens showing positive sides to their already shitty existence.
Citizen : “I think Pizza inn is the best pizza in the world.
Them: Simbisa is a looting blah blah.
We can’t have a shitty life and enjoy a hard earned pizza anymore. It doesn’t fit their asylum handlers narrative.
Yes we have a lot of problems as a nation. Every nation does. Poor governance. Dynastic politics. Corruption. Poor service delivery. Nepotism, sexism. Tribalism. Poor infrastructure. El Niño. The list doesn’t end. But even in a refugee camp, people get pregnant.
we have a unique ability to totally paint our own homes as Mogadishu, yet Somalians don’t paint the actual Mogadishu as bad as we do for crumbs.
NdezveBasa. We can’t prefix and suffix every fucking post to please these cashtivists. We have a life to live for better or worse.
Quote tweet that.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Nothing misleading brother. 2 things can be true at the same time. THE truth doesn’t take away from YOUR truth. The west is NO longer the “beacon” of democracy.
