I love the gym, I’ve never felt better in my life, but when Hubs is ready to go it’s like “ok, I got my pump, let’s leave” & I’m like, but my favorite disco song just came on! He is *very* serious about his push/pull/legs split. For me the gym is a playground.

Weird that this line of thought doesn't extend to Hannah-Jones' own salary or fancy house in an expensive city. It's only her daughter's education that she's willing to sacrifice on the alter of a level playing field. Why doesn't she move her ass to the projects "for fairness"?

Because it's a ridiculous question. Why should my daughter eat healthier food than the average person? Why should she breath cleaner air than people living in Beijing & Mumbai? The answer to all such questions is "because I love her & can provide her something better". Period.

What is the point, ultimately, to making a trade deal with someone who threatens every 2-3 days either to "cut off trade" or increase the cost of trade over whatever issue happens to have pissed him off this morning? Talking to the EU? Tariffs. Joined the BRICS? Tariffs. Russian oil purchases? Tariffs. No access to bases? Tariffs. Didn't do X, Y, or Z? Tariffs. And now we have progressed from tariffs to "no more trade." There's just no real credibility to a policy instrument if you either overuse it, use it for anything and everything, or are just all over the place.

Impossible to explain to people who aren’t anxious/depressed & think exercise is some kind of scam that only exists to make you look better nekkid that no, it really does make your brain function properly if you’re me. Found a gym next to office, been going at lunch. Godsend.

Joined a gym right by my office & it has like, ALL the toys. The place is a playground for adults. Where were you when I was young, when I was new? 😂

I might have made a friend today omg. Somebody I actually kinda vibe w/ asked me to trade #s. Historically I’ve only made friends bc of long-term proximity or when outgoing ppl respected my skills or loyalty or weird bluntness & provided some glue. Thank you outgoing ppl! 😭
