they were a product of the mid 2000s mall emo scene. they performed at a hollister for crying out loud. the mall is a relic of a time before online shopping. a digital age thats also had its effects on music. if this isnt a album it could be a commentary on the industry.

the only pure flaw is if lets say they utilize the whole "product of mall emo" as the theme or influence, i wouldnt classify Offspring in there. and not TSSF either. TSSF is a pop punk pizza and flannel warped tour baby. hmm maybe its a warped theme instead of mall emo haha

very adamant on not wanting to conform to being a nostalgia act and that the only times you'll see them out on tour is when they have something they want to share with the world.

they created The Days Of Fall Out Past to cater to the nostalgia crowd and to keep people from hitting concessions during tje set since these were predominantly festival appearances. I doubt this is another nostalgia or "major heads of rock collide" moment
