I am a Brazilian journalist, and I have been closely following the criminal investigations involving Flávio Bolsonaro here in Brazil.
Will American taxpayers be asked to pay to protect Flávio Bolsonaro?
He is under investigation in Brazil for suspected corruption, money laundering, and illegal financial transactions.
The financing network behind “Dark Horse,” the film about his father, is under federal investigation over financial connections to a company suspected of laundering money for the PCC, one of Brazil’s largest drug-trafficking organizations.
He previously honored Adriano da Nóbrega, accused of leading a militia.
His political allies Rodrigo Bacellar and Márcio Canella have both been arrested in organized-crime-related investigations. Bacellar is now a defendant in a case involving obstruction of an investigation into Comando Vermelho, another major drug-trafficking organization.
His close friend Willer Tomaz is also under investigation alongside him in a suspected money-laundering scheme involving online gambling.
These are documented connections and ongoing investigations, not criminal convictions.
Is this really someone the United States should offer protection to at American taxpayers’ expense?

Hey America, do you know who your country has been harboring? Meet Flávio Bolsonaro. 🇺🇸🚨
While preaching "law and order," the reality behind the scenes is far darker. As exposed in this video, Flávio Bolsonaro used public taxpayer money to employ the mother and wife of Adriano da Nóbrega—a notorious hitman and leader of Rio de Janeiro’s most dangerous militia group, the "Office of Crime."
For over a decade, taxpayers funded the family of a convicted killer involved with organized crime and illegal gambling syndicates, all while Flávio awarded this militia leader the highest official honors in Rio's assembly.
It's time for the American public to wake up to who is really taking refuge in the US. #DeportTheBolsonaros #FlavioBolsonaro #Brazil #JusticeForBrazil #MilitiaPolitics #TruthExposed

The main motivation for millions of Brazilians to vote for Lula was fear of having Flávio Bolsonaro as president. We know him, his family, and what they do.
Now you Americans will grant him asylum and let him walk free among you.
He is connected to a litany of crimes.
Google it.

A Brazilian judge ordered an investigation into a donor network set up by J.D. Vance and Flavio Bolsonaro who just lost the presidential election. And Trump just granted Bolsonaro a visa when he was on the verge of being arrested. Trump, standing up for despots, not the U.S.

CNN Brasil reports that Trump personally authorized Flávio Bolsonaro's entry into the U.S., and that American officials knew about the Brazilian passport order BEFORE he fled.
Folha is now reporting that Marco Rubio actively participated in arranging his departure, citing sources connected to both governments.
If that reporting holds up, we're looking at the U.S. helping a defeated presidential candidate evade another country's judicial authorities.
That's one hell of a diplomatic scandal.
There are major questions about how Flavio Bolsonaro left Brazil this morning with his family for the US without detection by Brazil.
All morning, Brazilian authorities were utterly confused and clueless. As rumors circulated that Bolsonaro had left Brazil, they had no idea if it was true. At one point, they thought they had located a plane in Argentina, but Bolsonaro wasn't on it. That seems to have been a decoy.
Some Brazilian media outlets are now reporting that the US Govt did not merely agree to allow Bolsonaro to enter, but actively planned, participated in and even executed the exit of Bolsonaro and his family from Brazil to the US: meaning that it was a covert extraction operation by US officials carried out right under the noses of Brazilian intelligence and law-enforcement agencies, who had no idea it was happening.
(Bolsonaro has now arrived in the US, but the secrecy of all this means the US Govt has not publicly spoken on it. Everyone, including me, is working on finding out their version).
There are lots of questions for both governments, some pretty serious implications as well, and ultimately lots of embarrassment for Brazilian officials no matter how it happened (to say nothing of the authoritarian and anti-democratic stench of having Brazil's globally notorious tyrannical judge order the passport seizure of Lula's opponent a mere 7 minutes after Lula was declared the winner).

Your tax dollars hard at work, harboring this scumbag so he can escape justice.
He gets the red carpet, everyone else gets ICE.
I can confirm that @FlavioBolsonaro is no longer in Brazil and is on his way to the United States.
A US protective operation is underway to ensure his safety.

To avoid ending up in jail with his father for money laundering, today, after his election loss to Lula, Flávio Bolsonaro fled Brazil.
Bolsonaro was picked up by an Argentine plane in Puerto Iguazú, on the Brazil-Argentina border.
The U.S. State Department will issue visas for entry into the US for Bolsonaro and his family.
I WONDER IF THE CIA WAS INVOLVED IN BOLSONARO'S ESCAPE?

AMERICANS, DO YOU KNOW WHO DONALD TRUMP IS WELCOMING INTO YOUR COUNTRY?
I am a Brazilian journalist, and I have been closely following the criminal investigations involving Flávio Bolsonaro, the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
Reuters reported on October 27 that Flávio left Brazil for the United States after losing the presidential election, despite a Brazilian Supreme Court order requiring him to surrender his passports.
Now I have a question:
Will American taxpayers be forced to pay for the protection of a Brazilian politician facing serious criminal investigations?
Before anyone screams “political persecution,” here are the actual case numbers. You can look them up yourselves.
1. BANCO MASTER, DARK HORSE AND SUSPECTED MONEY LAUNDERING
Brazilian Supreme Court (STF)
Case: INQ 5,070
Full docket: 0181367-57.2026.1.00.0000
Related proceedings: PET 16,369 and INQ 5,026.
Federal investigators are examining suspected money laundering, corruption and illegal international financial transactions involving the financing of Dark Horse, a film about Jair Bolsonaro.
The investigation involves financial dealings with Daniel Vorcaro, the former controller of Banco Master.
2. SUSPECTED FINANCIAL LINKS TO THE PCC DRUG-TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION
Brazilian Superior Electoral Court (TSE)
Case: AIJE 0603371-06.2026.6.00.0000
Filed October 23, 2026.
This electoral lawsuit questions whether millions of dollars transferred through companies and investment funds linked to the Dark Horse financing network indirectly benefited Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign.
One company involved in the financial transactions was also identified in investigations concerning suspected money laundering connected to the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital), one of Brazil’s largest criminal organizations.
The lawsuit seeks the annulment of Bolsonaro’s candidacy or election certification and an eight-year disqualification.
To be absolutely clear: the alleged connection between the money and the PCC is under investigation. It has not been judicially established that the PCC financed the film or his campaign.
3. WILLER TOMAZ AND ONLINE GAMBLING
A separate investigation before Brazil’s Supreme Court, overseen by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, examines suspected money laundering involving attorney Willer Tomaz, a close friend of Flávio Bolsonaro.
Investigators are examining financial transactions involving gambling companies, payment platforms and businesses connected to Tomaz.
The exact court docket number has not been publicly verified.
4. THE RACHADINHA CORRUPTION CASE
Rio de Janeiro State Court (TJ-RJ)
Case: 0072696-34.2020.8.19.0000
Prosecutors formally accused Flávio Bolsonaro of crimes including embezzlement, money laundering and participation in a criminal organization involving alleged diversion of public employees’ salaries.
The charges were dismissed in 2022 after evidence was ruled inadmissible.
There was no conviction, but there was also no trial determining whether the alleged conduct occurred.
5. RODRIGO BACELLAR AND COMANDO VERMELHO
Brazilian Supreme Court
Case: PET 14,959
Full docket: 0123047-48.2025.1.00.0000
Rodrigo Bacellar, a political ally of Flávio Bolsonaro, was arrested and later became a criminal defendant in proceedings concerning alleged obstruction of a police operation targeting Comando Vermelho, another major Brazilian drug-trafficking organization.
6. MÁRCIO CANELLA AND ORGANIZED CRIME
Electoral case: RO-El 0601451-66.2026.6.19.0000
Another political ally supported by Flávio Bolsonaro, Márcio Canella, was arrested during an investigation into suspected organized-crime-related money laundering involving fuel businesses.
Brazilian electoral prosecutors have also questioned his candidacy over alleged connections to militias and Comando Vermelho.
These are separate proceedings involving Bolsonaro’s allies, not criminal charges against Flávio himself. 🧵
