Virgil Maddox stands accused of sexually assaulting three of his students. While the judge suspects, Adam knows his friend is innocent. He's also quite sure the allegations were trumped up by someone who, as Virgil puts it, "objects to my ethnicity."
None of the above could possibly have imagined the racist, misogynist cabal that orchestrated the attempt to rid Living Skies High School of Virgil's presence . . . among other crimes so horrific, they turn even a police inspector's stomach.
