Tomorrow… Last week, the @runfreetrail team flew to Las Vegas to interview @AlexHonnold for the pod. We talked about his career, climbing, trail running, The Honnold Foundation, and a lot more. Pretty surreal, excited to share with you all!

🎬 UNBREAKABLE 2 🎬 In 2010, history was made at the @wser. A historic collision of legends, Geoff Roes came from behind in heroic fashion, emerging victorious in a then course record time of 15:07. The race was beautifully captured by @jbbenna and @journeyfilm in the 2011 documentary Unbreakable, a piece of art that helped thousands of people fall in love with this amazing sport. On June 28th, Western States will host another collision of legends. Perhaps the greatest 100-mile start list ever assembled, present-day champions will compete to etch their names into Western States history — carrying the awareness that they stand on the shoulders of giants. This being the 15th anniversary of the Unbreakable year, it only feels right to tell the story again. Same race, same course, same spirit, but with a new cast of characters and in a new generation of trail running. Though we’re only in the early phases of planning, @runfreetrail is honored to partner with Journeyfilm in this ambitious project. Stay up to date by visiting the link in comments. ONE MORE STEP

This week on the @runfreetrail pod, Riley Brady joins for the first time. Riley is a pro trail runner living in Boulder, CO. Riley has been building a solid resume over the years but has recently broken through to achieve two huge back-to-back wins at the Javelina Jundred and Black Canyon 100k. Topics discussed: — Riley's move to boulder and the benefit of the community and training environment — Being at peace and its benefits to performance — Riley's background growing up on the east coast — The benefits of not taking the safe route and setting big goals in life — Riley's training and progression with coach David Roche — Riley's win at Javelina, a performance that Riley was surprisingly not totally satisfied with — The massive 30min CR at Black Canyon 100k — Training towards Western States — Being patient and waiting for the right sponsorship — A lot more!
