I think one of the sadder things abt getting older is realizing that being older doesn't necessarily make ppl less petty or more mature. Often times they just acquire more sophisticated ways of expressing their grievances. I’m frequently surprised by the toxic way many “adults” around me regulate their emotions, and their readiness to take it out on other people.

This is happening after the misappropriation of more than one billion dollars from Florida’s emergency fund towards the concentration camp Alligator Alcatraz. DeSantis allowed it, AG James Uthmeier made it happen, and CFO Blaise Ingoglia enabled it.
Aerial footage shows the streets of Port St. Lucie, Florida underwater on Monday, as torrential rain brought widespread flooding to the area.
Officials declared a state of emergency and warned residents to avoid all unnecessary travel as widespread road closures were in place. A flash flood warning remained in place for the city and surrounding areas on Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
