Correlations are on the move, and the pressure on AI stocks is pulling down the stocks/bonds correlation, even though the stocks/oil correlation remains deeply negative. Growth concerns are overshadowing inflation/rates concerns for now.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says America’s affordable housing crisis is largely caused by government regulations… and fixing it wouldn’t require another dollar of government spending: “Good public policy is free.” 🇺🇸
“Good public policy is free. If we do a better job with schools, it’s free. If we improve our regulatory system, it’s free.
I’m not just talking about banks, by the way. You could be a restaurant. You could be a small business. It’s terrible—federal, state, local permitting.
The affordable housing problem? It’s all regulatory stuff. You can’t build a multifamily building. You can’t put this here. It doesn’t have enough parking. It’s got to have all these things.
We can fix this stuff, and it’s free. The government doesn’t have to borrow more money to fix it.
We already spend the money. We just need to fix the system.
We should all get involved in fixing these policies that would make our country work far better. Deregulation is part of it.”
Tough to argue with Jamie here, if you need an example, just look at Canada or Europe. The most unaffordable housing markets driven by over regulation and over permitting.

Anthropic $ANT just went from 12% to 85% gross margins in one year on ~$16B in revenue during the first half of 2026.
Pretty wild when you consider it spent only $2.4B serving customers compared to $9.7B on R&D which suggests running existing AI models is becoming far more profitable than expected.
Replying to @KraneShares
2/3 Anthropic is generating more revenue for every dollar spent on compute and infrastructure.
In Q1 2025, every $1 spent generated $0.40 in revenue. By Q4 2025, that reached $0.69. In Q2 2026, it hit $2.08.
That’s more than 5x in five quarters.
Compute is one of the major costs of running an AI business. Generating more revenue per dollar spent suggests Anthropic is getting more productive use out of that infrastructure.
And that efficiency may help explain another major shift in the filing: its operating margin.
Just to set everyone straight.
No AI is not a bubble.
Yes, demand will continue to outpace supply.
No Bitcoin is not going to zero.
Yes you need to worry about bank hacks more than Bitcoin.
Yes tokenized assets will add trillions to crypto.
Yes nothing besides crypto and AI are good investments.
No you shouldn’t use leverage in this environment.
This will continue and unemployment rate with creep up over the next 6-12 months.
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers as part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption, per Bloomberg.
Personnel on select teams in the US, Canada, India, and the UK at a vice president level and below will be eligible.
This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.

I am shocked, absolutely shocked, that Anthropic ARR has likely gone vertical in October after they cut token prices.
Except the exact same thing happened for the entire AI market, which is why GPU rental prices have surged while token prices declined.
$100b plus in year-end ARR looks possible again.

In an environment where the Fed is raising rates and Treasury yields remain high, the pace of AI infrastructure investment comes under pressure. In other words, the AI revolution slows down. Especially for companies dependent on external financing, expensive debt and falling stock prices restrict both funding channels at the same time.
In an environment where the Fed was cutting rates, credit conditions were improving, and stock prices were rising, both borrowing and raising capital through dilution could have been easier! Since the market would be rallying, dilution wouldn’t have been a problem. Companies could also have raised debt through bonds. Today, these companies face pressure in the opposite direction.
The growth rate of the AI revolution isn’t independent of the cost of the capital financing it.
This isn’t something I’m saying for the first time. I’ve been saying the same thing ever since it became clear that Fed rate hikes would be back on the table.
