Just joined the Greens, after a lifetime of voting Labor.
Feels like a great relief to support a party that acknowledges the Genocide of Palestinians.
Zack Polanski and The Greens are the only party that will kick Thiel's Palantir out of the NHS and the UK.

Musk and other tech billionaires are working alongside Putin to replace democracy with a technofascist oligarchy. The path was outlined in the book "The Sovereign Individual" co-authored by William Rees-Mogg which forecast that through means such as cryptocurrencies a super-rich cognitive elite would first break free from democratic control and then seize power. Musk's fellow PayPal mafia member Peter Thiel has written a preface to the book. Thiel has clearly stated that in his view democracy and capitalism are incompatible. Vance owes his position to Thiel's money and influence. Thiel, Musk and David Sacks were reported to have persuaded Trump to take on Vance as his running mate. Don't forget that Musk has had several phone calls with Putin.

Freedom to speak. Freedom to vote. Freedom to live. These basic liberties were blatantly violated by irresponsible and self-centered tech billionaires this month.

PETITION. Launch a public inquiry into the UK's role in Israeli operations in Gaza
Anyone who is even moderately well-informed must realise that the UK government has repeatedly acted illegally in its support for Israel, breaking International Humanitarian Law, breaching many treaties such as the Genocide Convention. Signing this petition is a small step towards justice. We need to change policy and some ministers need to stand trial for their crimes. The day after the Chancellor never mentions climate once in his speech - Shell announces profits of over £8,000,000,000.
You know why free zones are not discussed in the MSM, and so-called alternative media?
It's all down to secondary legislation.
The duopoly's nationwide free zones rollout was not debated in Parliament.
The public were not consulted.
The press were not notified.
The UK is being carved up into corporate-governed regions, and what's more, the public is paying for it with hundreds of millions of pounds in State aid.
That's public money being used for corporate profit with a distribution ratio of 9/10 in favour of the private sector.
PFI, PPP is a Ponzi scheme for the asset classes.
BTW this is all highly illegal within the EU, the EU Commission clearly states that state aid must not be used for profit motive in free zones.
This is why Brexit was forced through.
But our government calls this, "economic growth".
To date, the EU has 62 free zones, they are being wound down due to widespread corporate corruption.
Today, the UK now has 91 free zones.

A new asset class is being identified as ‘Nature’s Economy’, where a country’s rivers, lakes, forests are targeted by a sovereign wealth fund controlled by a Saudi Prince, or Blackrock for example.
Locals will have no say on Natural Asset Companies (NACs) monetising green spaces as not yet existing in the economy or indeed in a corporation's financial portfolio.
NACs would earn money by ‘improving’ ecosystems and putting a dollar figure on benefits like clean air or wildlife habitat.
25 state attorneys general opposed NACs, and the NYSE withdrew it in January 2024
But….
What @_whitneywebb Webb and Others Are Warning About.
There are Alternative Implementation Routes:
The World Economic Forum continues promoting “debt-for-nature swaps” that allow countries to restructure debt in exchange for conservation commitments, effectively transferring control of natural resources PERC. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink is pushing “tokenisation” to turn natural assets into tradeable blockchain-based financial products as part of a global carbon market.
Larry Fink (CEO Blackrock) is now chairman of the WEF, he replaced Klaus Schwab.
The United States Geological Survey identifies “Dartmoor in the east to Isles of Scilly in the west” …as one of the top five lithium-enriched granite areas worldwide. Dartmoor is now a part of The Plymouth and South Devon Freeport.
The Dartmoor National Park wasn’t even aware of the fact it was incorporated in the freeport/SEZ zone which is 75km in diameter.
What is happening in Dartmoor is being repeated across England, Scotland, and Wales.
Zone Fever is eclipsing the UK.
The natural asset financialization agenda is global and is being implemented in practice via massive deregulation via free zones, and Brexit Britain is faking Net Zero targets via greenwashing to privatise all critical infrastructure under a corporate political model, which the majority of citizens are excluded from and have zero say in the decision-making process
This is happening. This is a corporate coup.
Webb exposes how the financial elite are transforming environmental crises into profit engines. At COP26, global bankers and asset managers—led by figures like Mike Bloomberg and Mark Carney—unveiled plans not to solve ecological collapse, but to commodify it.

🚨 THE ALARM BELLS ARE RINGING!
So @andyburnham approved Jackdaw while insisting Labour remains committed to the green transition.
The Budget announces cuts to energy bills through reduced levies and policy costs, presenting them as major savings.
But already confirned energy price hikes in January will swallow those savings entirely, and then some.
Your bills will still go UP!
But buried in the Budget is something far more concerning. And @dantomlinsonmp, for some reason, has been stupid enough to highlight this.
@UKLabour has announced that it will only award new contracts for renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar farms, if it's satisfied they'll reduce electricity bills.
Sounds reasonable?
But here's the problem.
After years of underinvestment in Britain's electricity grid, the government is now introducing conditions that could delay or restrict the very renewable projects we desperately need to accelerate.
Meanwhile, new fossil fuel projects continue to get the green light without having to demonstrate that they'll reduce household energy bills.
And that's before we even consider the enormous long-term environmental, economic and human costs of continued fossil fuel dependence.
Where in Labour's calculations are the costs of climate breakdown, environmental destruction and the devastating consequences for future generations?
Because from the way these decisions are being presented, it's far from clear they're being given anything like the consideration they deserve.
The government itself acknowledges that renewables are essential to escaping volatile gas prices, achieving energy security and tackling climate change.
Yet its own policies seem designed to slow that transition.
If Labour is genuinely committed to the green transition, why is it placing new conditions on renewable energy while continuing to approve fossil fuel expansion?
And why do the enormous environmental, economic and human costs of climate breakdown appear to carry so little weight in these decisions?
We should be accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels, not finding new reasons to delay it.
