For anyone who’s ever faced a personal challenge, it doesn’t get much better than the 'Six Minutes' speech in VISION QUEST. This scene wasn’t in the 1979 novel by Terry Davis. Elmo's monologue was written specifically for the film by screenwriter Darryl Ponicsan (THE LAST DETAIL, TAPS). Actor J. C. Quinn absolutely knocks it out of the park here. If you’d like to support the @FMJDiary project, you can bid on an original poster below. I signed and inscribed it with Elmo’s iconic line: “It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.” ebay.us/m/p2kYOc

No fanbase in sports---pro or college, any country, any sport---would draw more joy from their team winning a championship than Jets fans, and you can't convince me otherwise.

#Jets have added four defensive players today: - S, Minkah Fitzpatrick - LB, Demario Davis - EDGE, Joseph Ossai - EDGE, Kingsley Enagbare Very clear what the focus is. Fair to say the unit has gotten better today

I don’t care how many divisions there are in your state. Watching kids win state championships is so cool. The emotions, the celebration…you can tell how much it means to them and how much work was put in to get your hand raised at the end of the season.

61 NFL cornerbacks have played 200 or more coverage snaps this season. Of those 61, here's the full list of those corners who have allowed 10 catches or less while holding opposing QB's under 50% comp. 1) @nyjets CB Sauce Gardner #JetUp That's it.

At various points, the Jets trailed 17-3, 24-10, 31-16 and 38-24 — and won.

The Jets will win 39-38. Aaron Glenn gets his first win. Justin Fields gets his first-ever win when the opponent scored more than 21 points. What a game. Glenn deserves credit for this one.

In the @SheilKapadia spirit of "nobody talks about analytics when it works": Aaron Glenn goes for 2 after a scoring a touchdown down 14. Ends up getting the one point lead in regulation that becomes the deciding point in the Jets' first win this season. Awesome coaching job.

Sauce Gardner PSA: Can Sauce tackle better? Sure Can Sauce create more turnovers? Sure but it’s hard to do that when you’re targeted three per game The overhate from this fanbase is ridiculous sometimes. Appreciate one of your few good players

The NFL has guys who can run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds, guys who throw 70 yard darts, and 300 pound men with the balance of a ballerina, but you know why I really watch football? To see 70 year old men throw yellow flags on the field
