GOP Rep. Thomas Massie tells @politico he will trigger his resolution to impeach Pete Hegseth Monday or Tuesday.
That will force a vote on the House floor Weds or Thurs.
GOP leadership worries it could pass the House. They also have attendance problems post midterms. Massie’s resolution will be “nearly identical” to his earlier version, he says.

What makes “NAZA” significant is not simply what it reveals about Israel’s genocide in Gaza. It is also the extraordinary attention the documentary has attracted, extending far beyond the audiences political cinema usually reaches.

Another ethnic group, besides Latinos, whose voters moved far to the left: Asian Americans.
Asian American conservatives I spoke to were not surprised:
NYC Mayor @ZohranKMamdani says Democrats need to deliver results with urgency once sworn in: "Americans cannot afford 2 more years when their rent is due on the first of the month...they cannot afford 2 more years when they have to go to the grocery store today."

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

El-Sayed calls out JD Vance, who brawled with the Senate candidate on the campaign trail. "JD, habibi, there is this delicious irony in that you're constitutionally-obligated to swear me in in January."

Thank you, New Mexico! It is the honor of my lifetime to be elected your 33rd Governor.
Tonight, you made history. You chose a future where New Mexico comes first, where working families have a chance to get ahead, and where every New Mexican has a voice.
I know the challenges ahead are real. But I also know that New Mexicans have never backed down from a fight — and we are going to tackle these challenges together.
Whether you voted for me or not, I will always be your Governor, too. Because this campaign was about all of us, and the future we deserve.
Let’s keep New Mexico, New Mexico. Let’s build a brighter future for our families. And let’s get to work.

Americans are tired of being told their needs are unrealistic by politicians who have been bought by the wealthiest people in the country.
